I opened a claim with yourselves and one of your colleagues named 'Kim Pina' was assigned to my claim. We had a few email conversations therefore I thought this claim would be resolved. She then asked me to send over the 'value of the goods damaged' and to send over BACS so they could reimburse me for the goods lost. Once the details were sent over, she started to ignore my emails and no transfer of money was ever sent across. I sent two follow up emails and still haven't had a response and it has been 2 weeks. I've even tried calling the company and it wouldn't ring through. It's not very professional and I wouldn't recommend insuring with them if they can't be bothered to respond to you

I purchased this insurance on an LTL freight load- more specifically, an assembled 3D printer. I was in no hurry to open the crate when it was received, it sat in my garage for a month before I got around to opening it (I was fighting with the shipping company on the actual weight of the crate). I opened it, and noted some damage. Thankfully, I had 90 days to file a claim with Falvey cargo.
Immediately, they were wondering why I took so long to open the crate. I explained to them the scenario, and they pulled out of their back pocket, "Any damage found after 16 days is considered 'concealed damage' and is not covered". Instead of trying to help or trying to understand, they went straight to some small text in the contract stating that I was responsible for the damage that the shipper caused. Now, if this were a situation where I was using the 3D printer and noticed a failure weeks later, I would understand, but this certainly isn't the case- the shipper damaged my freight, and Falvey is doing whatever they can to not cover any of it.
Falvey Cargo will go the extra mile to not cover shipping damage to your freight; they will accuse you every step of the way. I highly recommend you go to anyone other than them for your needs.
