Steak 'n Shake

Ordered through doordash. Waited an hour, dasher waiting on order at restaurant. Order cancelled "due to technical difficulties with the restaurant." Suddenly listed as closed on doordash when its supposed to be open until 10pm. Not the first time either. Why participate with doordash if you can't or won't make orders?

Only the drive thru was open due to staff shortage, but the 3 workers they did have were kind, hard working, and got our orders made correctly. Kudos to the 3 of you who worked 12-9-2021 evening shift!! Way to get it done!! Great job!!

I'm not sure if it's a corporate thing or something, but it seemed like the atmosphere in this Bristol, Tennessee location w a s not the best. It is like a McDonald's, you order at the counter and wait for your name to be called, the food quality has gone done hill, and the shakes tasted like they had been blended too long. Tables weren't clean and the prices have gone up significantly. The only reason we are giving two stars is because the cashier was very friendly. I don't think me and my family will be going to Steak 'n Shake anymore.

Food was just as good as usual. Service was slow at best. And availability of some things was lacking.

Used to love steak and shake but they keep getting rid of items on their menu
