My mother was seen here in Sept of 2023. She had dark spots all over her arms, from hands to elbows. Was falling often. They CT scanned her back, told her she had fractured disks and prescribed her Meloxican, which is bad for the liver. In Nov she was diagnosed with liver, lung and brain cancer at a different hospital in Dallas. How did Hendrick miss her advantaged stage of cancer AND prescribed a drug that her liver obvious could not have handled??? I have called the hospital to complain and was told that would investigate it but couldn't share the results with me even if I was her MOA and the Executor of her Will. Texas Medicial Board will notified.

Hello! I would like to write in formally think Hendricks Hospital of Abilene, Texas. My really good friend was having issues affording her medication. She was unable to call the hospital herself and ask for a cheaper medication or for it to be free so she asked me to call. I did just that. The receptionist was very kind and understanding. She told me that she would talk to the doctor and see what they could do. I appreciate the cooperation and attentiveness to the needs of people that cannot afford medical care. Its a shame that anyone has a struggle to pay for medications that they absolutely have to have. My friend was losing her mind without her medication. She was going crazy. I even say that she was getting a little bit homicidal. Thank God for Hendrix hospital of Abilene Texas. She now has her medication she was able to get 100 mg of her medication for only $18 for a 30 day supply. Im not gonna see what her medication is on here for privacy reasons but if you wanted to know, you probably could ask her , thank you again to Hendricks Hospital of Abilene, Texas!

I will never forget how I've been treated while needing help and I mistakenly had ambulance take me to nearest location. This was the 2nd time I felt unsafe and left the hospital in nothing but in only a robe only this time. I had blood everywhere no shoes no phone and the worst headache of my life and the doctor said I was the worst type of patient after the hostility and rudeness they provided as a service. He took an oath to help and did the absolute opposite! Then they told my mom and sister I was never there!!! I had to walk in just a robe blood everywhere and no shoes to my job! Where my family finally found me. I ended up at the hospital on the south side where they treated me with respect and care. I'm absolutely grateful for the nurses and staff that provided me with the help I needed. The north side has had this reputation of their rude and condescending attitudes. They live up to that reputation and something should be done about it. They're a dangerous facility and I recommend anyone who needs medical assistance to go to the south side hospital. They will provide the help you need. All North side will do is put u in a worst situation and possibly a fatal one.

The doctors offices here are insane. They let people with no qualifications refuse your treatment. WHY is this allowed. This is what happens when your options are taken away from you there is no reason they have to treat you with respect and professionalism. Office staff is awful and works harder at not helping patients get the things they need and have paid for than just doing their job. Omg this is scary and frustrating. Guess it's time to file a complaint. Hendrick probably shouldn't be investigating themselves.
