There are so many wonderful things to say about him. Bob is an exceptional tutor and helped bring my score from a 590 to a 700 in 3 1/2 months of studying. He is so attentive, thorough and very easy to work with. I absolutely recommend him if you are trying to improve your scores on the GMAT. He has a wealth of knowledge and so much experience. He is amazing and genuinely cares about his students!!

My experience with Bob was less than ideal. Although Bob is very knowledgeable about the GMAT topics, he failed to understand my individual needs. The private tutoring with Bob was a supplement to my already extensive GMAT practice. I had been studying for a few months prior to my initial meeting with Bob. I came to him with specific problem areas and with only 6 weeks until my exam, asked that we focus our time accordingly. He did not adhere to my request. Additionally, he would say things like "wow I'm surprised you got that one correct" or (4 days before my exam) "you're taking a practice exam on Monday right? Not the real exam. YOU ARE NOT READY." For someone who is hired to be an educator, the aforementioned quotes are obviously off putting.During the time I did spend with Bob, he was constantly answering texts & phone calls. His phone was on ringer and would go off 10-15 times during a 2 hour period. His attention was NOT undivided.Good luck to all those studying.UPDATE 9/16 - Although Bob and I did not align well, he did make amends by offering financial compensation for the time spent, as well as other resources that may be useful to me in my studies.

When I first started studying for the GMAT, I thought I would have an easy time given my undergrad degree was in engineering. But after some studying on my own, I plateaued at fair, but not great score on practice tests. Then I started going to Bob and I was blown away about how little I knew about GMAT-style math. Bob showed me a lot of math and test tricks. Each two-hour session is very intense but highly informative. He made studying for the math section much easier and more efficient, which in-turn freed up time for studying verbal. Bob's specialty and passion is math, but I also went to him for several verbal sessions, which helped me tremendously. Bob knows the GMAT inside-out. During our sessions, he would highlight important concepts and problem types, many of which I saw on the actual test. He also has a huge arsenal of problems that really expose you to anything the GMAT may throw at you.
