Every single step is a month from the last one. Wait a month for detection. Wait another month for them to fit you in for repair. They demand money right away, but it takes a minute to determine if the pool is no longer leaking. First repair - guy busted concrete and there wasnt even a pipe below it. Oops. Pointless patch. After he did find the leak and repair it (10 weeks from original call), pool was still losing water. Wait ANOTHER month for another diagnosis and wait AGAIN for another repair. The patch work is junk and looks horrible. I will NEVER use this company again. I understand they may be the only co that finds pool leaks. Dont care. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. This company. Firstly, it seems to be the only company that people use to find pool leaks, so theyve got a hold on the market and their workmanship and timeliness seems to show it. They couldnt find our leak and busted two holes in the slab before locating. Then, pool kept losing water. Another bucket test confirms there is still a leak. This first diagnosis and repair too from July to end of October. They kept making me wait 4-5 weeks for the next step in the process. When the leak wasnt fixed, I called back and they put me on the list for ANOTHER 4 weeks away. Meantime, they call harassing me to pay for the completed work. What completed work? My pool still leaks! They said pay for the first leak, this next one is considered a new job. All that is ok, I guess, but they were not upfront about any of this - the elusiveness of leaks, possibility of unnecessary patches from digging mistakes, the month-long wait times, or the payment demanded once the new cement has been poured. And while Ive been waiting in to November for American Leak Detection to prove their almost 5 star rating, my salt water has killed grass and has made some mature trees lose their leaves early. On top of it all, the concrete work is complete junk. They say they stand behind their work and will come back to fix anything, but I am done with them. If they are truly the only business around for this, Id suggest hiring them for leak detection only and getting a trusted pool contractor to do the repair work. Total junk.

American Leak Detection provided excellent customer service and fixed our slab lake. We had the same technicians, Henry Recinos and Dennis Garcia, from the beginning of our project to the end. I appreciate them explaining to me, multiple times so I fully understood, our options for fixing the leak and the repair process. Henry answered our questions, responded to our phone calls, and made sure we were satisfied with their service. We had icy weather in the middle of the repair process and they made sure we had hot water. Thank you so much for making this frustrating slab leak less frustrating and for making sure we had the information we needed to make an informed decision about the repair. I would recommend American Leak Detection.
