Cole Hayes was extremely helpful, explaining the process and worked well with our insurance company. He was very professional throughout the process. He also let us know when issues or concerns were discovered when the old roof was removed and how the problems were dealt with. The roofing staff worked quickly and efficiently. The products used were excellent. They completed the job on time as scheduled. Excellent customer service, throughout. We are very happy with our experience with Diebolt Construction and highly recommend them.

Cole Hayes from Diebolt contacted me regarding hail damage that was visible from the street on my roof. I had been declined by insurance earlier in the year. In fact they declined again, but with his knowledge, he did get an agreement to replace my roof from them for me. I definitely had hail damage. I give 5 stars because this is honestly the most professional person I have encountered in many years. From inspection to completion, I was informed of every step and there were no surprises. The job done looks wonderful. The materials are good and the clean up was good. The job was done in 1 day a few hours. Last month I had Diebolt inspect my house and 2 rental houses for damage from a previous hail storm. They inspected the 3 homes and provided an honest assessment of the condition of the roofs and potential hail damage. The two rental houses were fine, but my home had considerable hail damage. The Diebolt reps (Stedson and Colt) came out with the insurance adjuster, to be available to answer my questions and the adjuster's questions if needed. It turned out the insurance company deemed I needed a new roof due to the hail damage. I then did my usual online research and phoned friends and acquaintances about roofers and decided to stay with Diebolt for the repair. I chose them because they came highly recommended, were a local Waco company and have been in business for many years (not the fly-by-night type of companies the come into town after a storm or pop up for a few years then disappear!). Stedson and Colt made the entire process painless, explaining to me the options, working with the insurance company to get additional coverage that the adjuster did not include, and held to their promise that all I would have to pay was the insurance deductible. They installed new underlayment, some high-tech underlayment (rather than the older "felt" technology that was on the house) and put in the equivalent of "Fire and Ice" water shield in all the valleys. They replaced and calibrated my power turbines, installed new ridge vents and replaced a damaged skylight (not on the the insurance claim, so this was out of pocket; however they only charged me their cost to do this). A couple of weeks later, they began replacing the roof. We have a large roof (`67 squares) so I expected it would take a couple of days to tear off the old roof, install a new roof and clean up. They were able to finish the roof in 1 day! The crews were careful with the landscaping, swept for nails multiple times and did a great job. At the end of the day, the roof was finished and the crew, Stedson and Colt spent at least 45 minutes going around the house picking up roofing trash, nails etc. Later when I went around the yard I did not find a single piece of trash or evidence they were there other than my roof was new. Stedson and Cole came back several times to ensure the yard was clean, to paint the roof flashings to match the roof and to make sure everything was up to their high standards. The roof looks great and I now do not have to worry about replacing it again for 50 years, other than future storm damage which should also be covered by insurance. Everything that happened was carefully explained, done professionally and I could not be happier. I do a lot of reviews and am reticent to give anyone 5 stars, which I view is outstanding rather than what was expected, but I have no problems doing this for Diebolt Construction. The job was done quickly, done well and the communication throughout the process was excellent. If you need a roof repair or replacement I can recommend Diebolt without reservation and I will use them, if needed, again. Diebolt Construction represented by Cole Hayes came to the house to tell us we needed a new roof. Even though it had been turned down by inspection the prior year by insurance, Cole thought we had valid claim. After taking many pictures of damage by hail on my roof we submitted info for another claim. After a different inspector reviewed the roof in person, they agreed we needed a new roof. The insurance company agreed to pay all estimated amounts for the roof. The quality and materiel used on my house was top of the line. Cole Hayes has had numerous followups to make sure work was done properly and that we were happy. We recommend Diebolt Construction. Before you make a large investment in your home, just give them a chance to discuss and bid. Diebolt does what they promise. They will do a professional and timely job.
