Monkey Business Camp

We love Monkey Business! My son has been attending Monkey Business camps for over 4 years now, both during the summers and breaks during the school year. We have found the staff to be kind and nurturing, with a real focus on fostering positive relationships among the campers. My son loves the variety of activities and games, and I love that he is outside in nature all day! Another plus is all of the familiar faces--many staff return year after year, which makes my son feel instantly at home. I highly recommend Monkey Business Camp!

My son loved loved loved going to Monkey Business last summer and has asked to come back again this year. He felt welcome, loved his counselors, made new friends, and had a lot of fun. The counselors are exceptional - many of whom have been there a long time. There's just this amazing energy of fun and respect and inclusivity that permeates everything they do. The admin staff is great too and very responsive. The winter/spring camps are fantastic too. I'm just so glad we found this camp!

Monkey Business Camp is a jewel in the array of many camp opportunities. Our child was first a camper and then became a youth leader, continuing to grow and learn in so many meaningful ways. Heather and the team provide a beautiful opportunity to bridge every childhood developmental stage, and provide a nurturing environment to take increasing responsibility, continue to learn, and enjoy the natural world, games, and being a community member. It's been a real anchor experience for our child and we are forever grateful to Monkey Business Camp for their vision and commitment.

Our daughter has been going to Monkey Business Camp for three years, both in Tilden and during the Spring/Winter session. From the very first day to the most recent day, she LOVES waking up every day and knowing she is going to camp Monkey Business. Every day there seems to be a different adventure or game. The activities seem to engage all types of kids. We feel so fortunate she can be in a beautiful space in Tilden park every single day. And, we also could not be happier with the level of service and professionalism of the camp - it is well run, and we feel confident that she is safe. The counselors are well trained and we like knowing that the professional staff/leaders are always on hand to make sure things are going smoothly. Our daughter is 8 and she is already looking forward to becoming a CIT and then a counselor. (We moved to the Bay almost 5 years ago, and Monkey Business has been one of our highlights of living in this area - wish I could spend my day in Tilden park!)

My very shy daughter loved Monkey Business Camp! She had a great time every year and always bonded closely with their excellent camp counselors. Monkey Business has the perfect blend of activities, nature, camaraderie, and fun.
