We stopped by to check the place out, because we tried calling twice and were told someone would call back and they never did. We are on the search for a daycare center for my grandson. First off, when we finally figured out where the door was to get into the building, which had no obvious signage, we found there was a makeshift desk at the top of the stairwell, that had nobody there. The stairwell leads down to the basement where the individual childcare rooms (based upon age) are located. We proceeded to walk down the stairs in hopes of finding and employee or greeter... or someone, but there was no one, there. There was however a terrible and over powering smell. I noticed the rooms were occupied based upon the ages of the children. The first room to the right was the 2 1/2- 3 1/2 year old room, which we just happened to be needing, as I looked into the window on the door I seen about four little ones taking turns hitting and yelling at each other as the, what appeared to be, caregiver was just sitting across the floor from them just watching, not saying a word and expressionless. We were there for at least five minutes and she did clearly see us and look at us, but did not appear at all concern about the kids physically fighting. It was very disturbing to me. We walked down the short hall and still seen no one. I want to make sure if you are one of those little ones parents that you are aware and you may want to address this, or at least be a little concerned about there safety. I get kids fight, but really this felt really wrong and concerning. Please beware.

I can’t express the unprofessionalism that comes from this place. At this "Christian" based facility, I have been called a heifer and a bad mother in front of my children, simply because I questioned why children were being left unattended. When asked to speak to the bishop, he stated that the issue would be further investigated and that I would have a meeting with a board council. They never got back to me and have since avoided my calls. The staff member with the foul mouth is still and employee. They are often laxidasical when it comes to child staff ratios, and supervision. If your child is not of a black decent, expect to be treated differently. They give special treatment to parents of color, and those parents are often seen loitering around the facility socializing with staff. One of the biggest issues is that the majority of the staff is severely morbidly obese. You’ll ALWAYS find them sitting and giving orders to the children. Never have I seen then get down and play.
