I first met Scott at a golf tournament 3 years ago that he helped organize to support veterans. My son and I had also sponsored a hole at that tournament and as veterans and business owners we immediately felt a kinship with him.
Last year I decided to refinance my home. While we ran into some unforeseen difficulties because of the VA and an appraiser, Scott went "beyond the call of duty" to help me get the information needed and complete the transaction. Rebecca Hurd was exceptional at providing timely service, and beyond knowledgeable at her job. Compassionate, understanding, courteous, hard worker, and genuine are just a few words I will use to describe Ms. Hurd. Due to Ms. Hurd being a subject matter expert, in the processing of VA loans, the transaction was able to process smoothly in a timely manner. Scott and his team were fantastic! The level of personal attention and help we received was perfect. As first time homebuyers, the whole process made us nervous but Scott helped ease all our fears. Each part of the process was explained in detail that laymen like us could understand. Scott listened to what we wanted, didn't push us toward anything we didn't want. The whole thing went smoothly.
