See attached photo. This is a bag of parts from a broken cowling latch that these guys thought would be an appropriate way to return what they broke. The boat went in with a list of repair and maintenance items and an open checkbook. Fix and maintenance everything. Ok no problem 2 weeks was what they told me. 3 weeks later I went in to check on it It had not been touched. They said they got too busy. Would have thought a call would be reasonable but that didnt happen. Then 2 more weeks they call and say its done. Looking it over there were a couple things that they didnt touch so I ask and they say Ill have to take it somewhere else for that. Could have told me when they agreed to the list and told me 2 weeks. Anyway paid 4700 for maintenance on the outboards and new scuppers they also replaced all the batteries that tested good 3 months ago but the date said 5 years old so they did it anyway. Guess their tester is different that others. Also got new tie downs. Paid the bill and took it home. Then noticed washing the greasy handprints off the outboards that a cowling latch was missing. Called and left a voicemail to see if it was maybe laying in the shop somewhere. With no response I just bought a new one. Got delivered today and pulled the hood to install and would you believe it there it is. A bag of part zip tied to a hose inside the cowling. See picture. Unbelievable. Cant imagine how this bunch of misfits stays in business. I hear they can edit their reviews.
