Normally, I like to keep my personal matters very quiet and my opinions out of the public realm. However, it seems to me these days that so many people spend their time only talking about bad experiences that I thought it important to try to add some balance in the only way possible...with sharing my EXCELLENT experiences with Kate De Lorenzo and her firm! Divorce is a very difficult experience for all involved, especially the ones that didn't have anything to do with it or any say in the matter - the children. Sometimes when we are arguing with our ex-spouse, we get caught up in the same arguments and reasons for getting divorced and we get side-tracked. Kate has been so helpful in reminding me and reinforcing what is truly important. I have been the very fortunate beneficiary of an attorney and firm that has been with me from the very beginning, and through some extra difficult custody and support issues. By having a long-term attorney-client relationship, with a truly professional and caring demeanor, even when new issues come up we do not have to re-hash all of the past and play catch-up.

Attorney Burghardt is an excellent family law expert and I couldn’t have been more pleased with her work navigating my extremely difficult divorce. I had a previous attorney from a large specialty law firm (hint: they advertise to men) who lacked follow through and attention to detail. After a year and a half of zero movement I fired them and hired Attorney Burghardt. Attorney Burghardt was the best move I made during this process and I only wish I would have started here.
