You get what you pay for. There's a reason they're offering a month free. Issues you will deal with: 1. Cox Internet is not actually wired up, you will be scheduling a technician to plug you in. 2. Buildings 3 and 4 do not have dumpsters, expect taking out the trash to be a 5-10 minute walk. 3. The month free promotion does not include things like pet rent or utilities; budget accordingly. Personal issues I've faced: 1. They attempted to slip Renter's Insurance at 50 a month despite me providing my own. (This is usually less than 10 a month at any provider you can think of). After noticing it twice and being assured it'd be corrected I still received a bill that will be "reimbursed later" after being given a third method of contact to fix it. 2. Filling out the lease agreement 4 times (twice in person at the office) with the price changing every time. Concerns: The apartments are brand new, there's nothing to 'mess up' yet, but their ability to shift blame (Cox for the Internet, WM for the dumpsters, leasing dept for the insurance) and inability to keep paperwork in order has me worried for when I would actually need them.
