Convenient location in San Jose to San Jose State and Santana Row. That's why we picked it.
Parking was under the hotel and you enter small empty lobby. There's a stairway and elevator up to the floor above to check in. Check in was quick.
Room was clean and the queen beds were comfortable.
The free complimentary breakfast was a bit disappointing with bagels, cereal, yogurt, and fruits only. No protein.

The worst bed I have ever slept on. My back and shoulders still hurt. Also it's right a main road and is pretty loud. To be honest I'm suspicious of all these great reviews that were left I personally would never stay here again.

Worst bed ever. It felt like sleeping on a pile of bricks. It was so stiff and uncomfortable, hurts your hips if you are a side sleeper. The free breakfast was not much of a breakfast, two types of cereal and bread and Yoplait yogurt. Checking in was awkward. There is no one there to personally check you in. It is all remote. They have a digital kiosk where they appear via zoom and check you in. Your room key is a digital code that gets emailed to you. But it seems to be pretty empty there. The room was okay. Big TV. One problem apart from the bed that I noticed was that there is a soap and lotion dispenser, and both were filled with soap. Very disappointing.
Rooms: Decent size. Small fridge with freezer, but the freezer is frosted over.
Food & drinks: Santana Row is down the street and there is a bbq place called Sauced. Great bbq.
About 10 min away is a Rock Bottom Brewery and restaurant. Great food and beer.

First time here and the check in was very confusing. No signs, no humans to greet you downstairs. I kept expecting someone to pop in and help us. I called the hotel from the lobby and the person on the phone instructed me to go to the second floor so we headed up to the second floor where there was again, no humans. We did hear a voice calling to us from a kiosk. Johnny was our attendant on a kiosk. I believe he was in Columbia. He was very kind and helpful. He did not seem to be aware that the marketplace had zero food or beverages or amenities in it as he directed us to use it. If we needed to purchase anything. The only amenities here was K-Cup coffee pods and hot water. There was zero beverages. We couldn't get toothpaste. There was no one to talk to. It was not expected at a three-star hotel. Once we got signed in at the kiosk we were given a code for our door to our room and the room was very clean. We did see house keepers cleaning the rooms but that was the only stafg we saw. I asked the kiosk guy Johnny if there was anyone on site for safety since anyone can walk in off the street and he said there should be management. There was a gym and an ice machine, a washer and a dryer. No vending machine again lacking in amenities. I was grateful for the coffee but expected more for the price we paid. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The amenities listed on the website were beverages and alcoholic beverages (the little martini glass suggeats this)so I was expecting a bar on site or at least beer or wine in the marketplace. Again, no beverages on site other than two bottles of water. We went to the third floor to a place called the executive lounge which consisted of chairs and USB plugins. No computer, no printer. Nothing that was listed on the site. There's LED lighting in the ceiling in the room and half of the cord kept flashing on and off so we just turned it off. All in all, if you're just looking to fall asleep, it's great. And clean. Absolutely zero else to offer. I would not have paid what I did if I knew this ahead of time.
