TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale West

Rooms are good size and clean, though some maintenance might be required. Location is good as it is relatively close to some area attractions. Housekeeping has some opportunities. Overall , i felt confortable at the hotel and have no issues coming back to this hotel.

Roaches.the end. Decided to come for a little beach time, and needed a room after my red eye flight just to shower and sleep for about 3-4 hours. Well thanks!!! No sleep and only 1 of the 3 showers needed (there were 3 of us). This was my very first time having to depart a Marriott hotel like this and exactly why I maintain my Gold status with Hilton. I cant believe Marriott allows them to fly their flag. Filthy hotel with roaches is a no go for me

The room was fine, but it had a very weird smell. They also provide a decent complimentary breakfast. Rooms: Very weird smell. Safety: No issues with safety.

Absolutely filthy. Upon walking in we sat stuff on the counter to find a lot of ants around the sink. Sat stuff on the couch and immediately had to move it because there were obvious pee marks from a dog. Trim was scratched and chewed, chairs were chewed, carpet was ripped in areas. Pee stains in multiple locations. It was honestly absolutely filthy. I was having surgery locally the next morning or else we would have stayed elsewhere. Felt filthy sleeping here. My husband asked for a partial refund and showed the guy pictures. He acknowledged the filth but said he could only give us Marriot points. Couldn't even let our 9 months old crawl at all because it was just disgusting. They didn't spray for ants like he said they would and some got I to a container of our baby's formula which had to be thrown away. 0 stars if I could Rooms: Filthy
