I was served quickly and efficiently from the moment I entered the ER. Everyone was civil and respectful and dealt my pain and the cause immediately. They explained my options and we selected the path from an informed position. My surgeon is a young man who is confident and sure, yet not intimidating or arrogant. I feel great today . Much thanks to the entire staff. Even the guy running the floor machine nodded and smiled.

My 1 year old's PCP told My wife and I to go here, because his Iron tested low at his annual check up and they wanted to get a more accurate reading. I dropped my wife off around 11am where she checked in and waited in a room for hours before they even "attempted" to draw blood. My wife called me very concerned after 2-3 nurses in the children's unit couldn't get the needle in a vein. Eventually the all gave up and sought what I'm assuming was a nurse that was good a her job, who was able to finally draw his blood. They then were returned to their room and waited l, no one except for routine vitals entered the room. I arrived at the hospital at around 11pm and since there was no emergency, or any type of sense of urgency, my wife tramatized and exhausted from being left alone my 1 year in the confinement of a hospital room we decided to sign him out AMA we explained to the resident doctor why and that we would follow up with his PCP first thing Monday morning. She seemed understanding.... Monday morning we contacted his doctors office and was able to get an appointment the same day with the doctor, who prescribed him Iron drops and set him another follow up appointment in 30 days. He didn't even understand why the nurse practitioner sent us to the hospital anyway.... so we get home and shortly after DCF pops up on our door step asking about the situation at the hospital. Long story short we are now under investigation thanks to this hospital. We have 5 children, my oldest 2 are straight A students ... one in the IB program at fairview..playing in jazz and advanced concert band, and the other who just recently won MIK award. Only 2 students were selected from each school in the district. He was also the lead in the school play... he played shrek!... my kindergartener has been doing amazing her first year her teacher say she is the best behaved student in her class. So just post to let you know that your attempt ruin family will come to naught!. After overcoming homelessness and starting our own successful small business, one thing my family knows how to do is stick together through the hardest of times! Sorry we hurt your feelings by exercising our Right! Sorry if the huge ego that the white coat gives you couldn't let you leave my family alone. It's sad the unprofessional people I walked past at the nurses station cursing on the job, have the power to impact my life in such a negative way.
