Red Lion Hotel Pocatello

Very nice clean and quiet room and by far the best price for a room in the area. Very dog friendly and a dog friendly price a fraction of the other hotels nearby and lots of places to walk Fido too. Room has hardwood floor not the typical stinky carpet and again its dog friendly A cheerful and friendly young woman checked us in and also helpful. But breakfast was sad not even a good cup of coffee if you sleep in dont worry you didnt miss anything. Overall our stay was enjoyable we will recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again

Its easy off easy on the i intestate 86 and 15 its a cool older hotel that theyre attempting to modernize no restaurant but there is a jack in the box in the parking lot and a bk across the street and a mexican resturant. I've spent twice as much a night and had way worse of an experience at a more well-known hotel brand than I experienced here. If i needed a room in Pocatello again, I would definitely come back here.

we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM. The room was not ready for us and we had to wait for it to be cleaned for 45 minutes. When we got into the room, we found that there was no shower curtain in the shower and that the showerhead was detached from the wall making it a very unpleasant bathroom and impossible to take a shower. when we went to breakfast, there was only one waffle maker, and there was a line of people waiting to make waffles. You would think that they would be at least two waffle makers in a hotel of the size. There was no hot water for making tea. they ran out of breakfast items very quickly, and things had to be restocked, and we had to wait for things to be cooked. when we went to the pool, we found that none of the rules were being observed or being followed by the guests or enforced by the hotel. The hot tub was restricted to 18 years and older that we found that children as young as three years old were allowed to go into the hot tub. State, law of Idaho restrict inflatable toys in the pool yet there were many inflatable items that were being used by people in the pool. employees were allowed to bring their children into the pool area and they were using the facility without regards to the people who were staying at the hotel. I feel that the rate that we were charged was excessive for the environment of the hotel and the service that we received. just say the very least, we are very disappointed, and we will not be recommending this facility to any of our friends.

Just recently stayed the owner didn't seem to know it was Valentine's day and asked if we were celebrating a bday because my husband brought balloons to put up to decorate the room was beautiful though and newly updated there was a bit of build up behind the chair but nothing major just a light sweep up needed the heater/cooler sounded like glass was breaking and the filter was a bit dirty the only other thing is the pool is unenjoyable it's always so cold you can't even enjoy swimming because you instantly want to run to the hot tub but other than that I loved everything and the room wasn't bad other than the little things
