    This is literally the most horrible company I have ever had to do business with. I have been a tenant at Madison grove going on 3 years and if I could list all of the petty, horrific, stressful things I have had to endure in this review I would be here typing all night! We have had to deal not only incomplete work orders, disrespectful office managers, retaliation, harassment and the fact we have no way at all to be in communication with their corporate office or anyone above our office manager. Now we are dealing with the property lying and trying to double charge us for our utility services. Our utilities have always been in our name and paid by us. Now all of a sudden without ANY written proof or timely notice we are being charged for utilities that we already have paid directly to AEP and Columbus gas. Of course it has been very easy for us to prove the bills are in our name and we are being billed for the dates in question but because we are dealing with unprofessional and very petty people we have to wait for them to figure this out and credit back our account. Now imagine that.. we go to pay our rent but are being told our rent is now $150+ more than expected because they are charging us for electric we already paid or gas that we already paid. And after speaking with the gas company and AEP, both companies said they have NO records of even sending the property ANY bill. And basically told me either someone at the property made a MISTAKE or they are falsifying records. They have refused to show me records that shows the Gas Company and AEP billing the property. Once we pay these additional charges now we have to wait for their process for us to be credited back. I am not one to use my time leaving reviews but because of the circumstances and feeling like our back is against the wall, this is the route weve had to take. Trust me when I say no matter what a nice place this may seem to be it is NOT worth the stress and loss of sleep you will encounter by moving here. If you have any choice or back up options take those because moving here and doing business with monarch will be one of the absolute worst decisions youll ever make.

    Eric the Maintenance guy is the best. He is always polite and truthful. He does his best to get things fixed and taken care of. It's nice having a maintenance guy you can trust in your home when you're not home.

    I wouldnt even consider telling anyone about this place. They call you a liar about things(oven broke down on Thanksgiving and called maintenance who looked at it said he would order the part never did and when I called front office a few days after she stated there was no work order done. Than 2 maintenance guys come by and said oh your oven is working which it wasnt and had to put in another work order which come to find out it was the heating element but they kept calling me a liar about the oven. Didnt have a working oven for a whole 3 weeks almost 4.) Than had to leave my unit due to kids robbed my kids of their bikes making my kids scared to go outside gave them notice I get told as long as I get everything out before February 1 I wouldnt have to worry about anything but then they turn around and charge me for everything to the point they are charging me for 3 to 4 months worth of rent when my lease is up on March 20. I ended up leaving in January. So they contradict what they say. Another issue I had was the African-American maintenance man Telling people business to other residents, who have no reason to know anybody elses situation. Or how about he would stop my underage child from doing her runs around the complex. He made it seem like shes not allowed to be outside running around. Another issue I have is how does the complex have a 10 oclock curfew for kids that dont make any sense. And then paying for a key fob, which is supposed to be a free amenity when you have an active lease there. if you want a quiet, non-judgmental, living area, I would not suggest this place but the school for Groveport Madison is great with kids, including kids with special needs.
