The manager and assistant manager here are great. While I've had issues with certain situations the manager and assistant manager have been able to clear it up and correct things for me.

I used to love living at Sorrento until the management changed. I was wanting to resign my lease, but after multiple miscommunications with leasing staff, I am now being charged several hundred dollars without discussion or resolution from staff. They have added several fees without notification, despite their lease agreement clearly stating there would be no additional charges other than those listed on the lease. When speaking with leasing staff, I have been repeatedly told someone will reach out to discuss this with you and no one has. They have lost my paperwork from move in listing faults with the unit that I will now presumably be charged for on move out. They lost my original move out notice resulting in a later move out date and (conveniently) an additional $250 month to month premium fee that was not notified or listed on any lease agreement, website, or communications with staff. I have tried to handle this matter privately with staff multiple times over the last two months, however, they have not reached out to me despite being assured several times that someone will contact me about the issue. Upon move in I had a dishwasher full of moldy standing water that was unable to be drained or even turned on, which was left in my renovated brand new apartment for three months without resolution. When it finally was replaced, it was replaced with a used white appliance, not a big deal, but when paying extra for stainless steel appliances, you tend to want what you pay for. I had multiple holes in my door and windows that were not addressed for 6 months, resulting in $300 electricity fees every month. Maintenance staff was very kind, but overwhelmed with the size of the property resulting in month long maintenance wait times for non emergency issues. I would have loved to continue living at Sorrento, and used to recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a new home but the hidden fees and miscommunications have unfortunately made it so that I will NEVER recommend any one to live here again.
