    I had a vehicular issue beyond my modest diagnostic abilities. Another shops approach was apparently to replace my whole truck one part at a time over the course of months (without results.) Finally got my vehicle into Jones, where they diagnosed my issue and had it fixed within 16 hours of dropping it off. Front-of-house also a pleasure to work with. Will definitely set Jones as my default shop for preventative maintenance and repairs going forward.

    Last month we took a used vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection. It was toward the end of the day, but we were assured an inspection could take place before the end of the day. The staff told us that the vehicle passed, and that there was nothing wrong with it. About 10 days after purchasing the vehicle, we noticed a grinding noise on the rear brakes. Turns out there was a caliper issue and the pads were very worn out, resulting in a $1,300 bill for us to replace rear braking gear. We totally understand buying a used car poses a risk for repairs like this, but brakes should be one of the primary inspection points. Given the timeframe, I think this was missed.. the employees may have been rushing their work at the end of the day, or they just werent thorough. Negative reviews arent normal for us, but we feel that others should know this happened.
