My wife and I had an amazing camping adventure in our campervan thanks to Alaska family motorhomes!

Renting an RV gave us the independence in traveling and changing plans at will and go everywhere we wanted to go. We liked that very much and it felt more freedom than being locked into a lengthy cruise. Less expensive too. The RV we had was older so the brakes were hard for my old knees to push so my younger companions did the driving. The owner was responsive to questions about the vehicle. All passengers need to be strapped in. Overall, very RELIABLE transportation. RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I rented the Subaru Outback with roof top tent. It was very comfortable and we stayed warm despite some chilly evenings (it got below freezing!) Great service and easy to work with.

My family and I had the greatest vacation ever in Alaska! Alaska Family Motor-homes provided us with a great RV for the experience.

Update- changed to 3 stars because of response from owner. Stuff happens, I get that. Communication on things are important. Unprofessional. Had an appointment for 1pm for pick up. Scheduled everything around it and timed it. Granted its a holiday weekend, so needed to hit the road. Showed up late, paperwork not ready, motorhome not ready. Motorhome was in decent shape. Took pictures of all the outside damage(just in case). There was a lot . It ran and got us from point A to point B, which was fine with us. Others may complain but it was mostly just a ride and an indoor tent for us. Woke up Sunday preparing to be at my drop off appointment at 2pm. Got a text confirming the drop off time. Made sure we got back in time to get the motorhome clean and filled up. Got there at 1:38 pm. I believe in being early because I appreciate other peoples time. Waited until 2PM. No communication from them either time about being late. Left the keys and the motorhome. As a business, you should appreciate other peoples time. After camping for a weekend people are ready to relax and such. Wasted our time. Is a small thing, but they showed that they dont care about your time. When you set your appointment with them, expect them to be late with no communication. They will overcharge you for being late via their website. However they dont care if they are late. Dont recommend these people. Find newer models from real businesses around the same price that care about your time.
