Well even been doing business with this location for almost a year. The experience has been up and down depending on whom your dealing with. However Ive recently experienced the worst customer service let down ever. September 1st I paid off my last payment on some items I had been renting and I was told I got a coupon for $200 that I had to use the same day. I explained to the gentlemen that due to me being at work it was impossible. After hanging up I thought about I need a coffee table and two end tables, so I decided to call back and ask the man could I start a new contract over the phone if I knew the item model number? I was told yes I can we went back and forth with phone calls for over an hour. Just for me to be informed I needed to come in personally and pay the start up fee in order for the warehouse to send the items they order for me. The salesman promised me if I came in on Tuesday I would still be able to use my two hundred coupon. I was excited I kept thanking him and letting him know how I appreciated that mind you hes boss supposedly approved it according to him. Well long story short I went there yesterday to the store to pay the start up fee. I was so excited joking and laughing with the same guy who helped me on the phone Sunday and promised me something. Yesterday Miguel informed me first he found my info in the computer. Five minutes later he couldnt find it, but mind you I changed my mind and decided to go with a coffee table and two end tables that was already in store on display. So Miguel said he had to void the old contract he written up on Sunday out with he did. So why would you say your trying to find my contract and all of a sudden its missing knowing damn well you voided it out. The point is he informed me my two hundred coupon I was promised I could still use was no longer Available for usage all of a sudden. Then he said but I can give you a hundred coupon! I was so freaking disappointed I told him never mind have a nice day and left. You should never tell your customers something you cant fall through with first off. I took off work early missing my last five hours of my shift to make sure I was able to come in before they closed to pay my fee. What a waste of time and I will never do business with this location again. Ill go online and purchases my items full price from the companys themselves. I dont even really feel you deserve two starts. However I still do like the rent a center companies overall, there helpful to folks who cant afford to pay in full and need to make payments.
