This was our second Moxy stay on our trip to NY, after our stay at the Times Square location, we wanted to locate in a different neighbourhood and this ended up being a great choice. We got the quad room again (2 sets of bunks) and the room here had a bit more space (both the rooms and storage options). You get a $30 credit per day to use on site and they also had the amazing coffee shop / bakery option (though a much smaller version) but it was a lovely way to start the day. Their lounge area was super funky with books to read and swinging chairs and the outside space was a gorgeous little sun trap. The room was again, super quiet. We didn't get to sample the delights of the rooftop bar as it wasn't open Monday's /Tuesday's which were our dates. Was a perfect spot to check out alphabet city, walking distance to Greenwich/The Whitney (20 mins), Flatiron (30 mins) and much more of a chill vibe on the surrounding streets. The cathedral bar/restaurant also looked really nice, though we just did a walk through. I'm delighted to have found the moxy chain of hotels and will definitely be staying here next time i'm in town.
