DO NOT GO HERE ITS A SCAM!!!!
My mom and I were going to Eureka, so we booked here short-notice. Found a room for $154 for one night. Had to cancel due to bad weather conditions (it was unsafe to drive). Called the place, ended up talking to a robot of an app, somehow managed to cancel my room, but they STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE WHOLE ROOM. Called it a "cancellation fee". A cancellation fee is 1/3 of the room, not the entire room. Do not go here unless you wanna get scammed.

They asked me to write a review so Ill tell you why Id never ever stay there again. This place is soo old, nothing and I mean nothing has been updated/renovated. We stayed in a romantic suite bc thats all that was available. Not sure how or why they call it romantic, there are 4 of those rooms and they are on the inside of the hotel above the lobby which is so weird, every time you come in/out there is someone staring at you. They had jacuzzi tubs but we did not use ours bc looking at everything else being old and run down I cant imagine why kind of bacteria is lurking in those jets. The sink for the bathroom is located outside and around from the bathroom near the bed which was so weird. Also the entire room is carpet including right next to the jacuzzi, so gross. Wood is broken along the base of jacuzzi and tile/grout is cracked. I couldnt stop sneezing all weekend, no telling how dirty the carpet really is. The wallpaper in the bathroom is peeling and the walls stained, the bath towels are so small you cant even wrap it around your body. My husband opened the drawer in his nightstand and found a dead cockroach inside. My drawer was broken and coming apart. All the other drawers I saw had roach bait along the side in the back corners. Writing this gives me the heebeegeebees again. There was nowhere to charge your phone, I had to unplug a light just to charge it. Also the place is owner by an Indian family that I think lives in the same building but they were always lurking around even lurking in the parking lot, felt very strange and uncomfortable. Ice machine is broken so they had a small cooler w ice and a kiddie garden shovel. I would only recommend this place for a quick night stay bc you literally have no other choice but over $170 a night for this old dirty and dated room? The nerve of them charging that and actually calling their place luxury is comical. Just plan ahead enough and you wont have to stay here. My last pic is of the weird old trash can in the bathroom that has stains all over it.

Beautiful location, accommodating owners that were very gracious. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was a little too soft for me personally however it was a very clean mattress. The only complaint I have is there wasnt an extra blanket in the room and bed only had comforter over sheets. Other than that easy check in and out. They allow dogs and only a $20 fee which is very reasonable. Again, cant express how gracious and accommodating the owner was. That alone is worth staying here.

I thought wow this is such a great place. The bed was nice, the jacuzzi was nice BUT then night came and we got absolutely no sleep because it was so unbelievably loud ALL NIGHT long. The walls and floors are paper thin. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and there was banging and was sounded like loud pipes and water running and people talking NONSTOP on the floor above us ALL NIGHT long. BOTH nights. Literally sounded like big things being frug across the floor over and over again.I believe it was staff but Im unsure. It was pretty unbelievable and unpleasant. We go to eureka quite often. We wont stay here again. The location was great and they had a cool little area outside for a fire. It had the potential to be a great stay, i just need sleep and unfortunately got none one our little getaway because of this hotel.
Noteworthy details: Horribly loud at night specifically.
