Budget Car Rental

This place should be blacklisted and removed from post. They will cancel your reservation without telling you. Why even have this place if you don't ever have cars???

Did not tell me that the car that I reserved apparently didnt exist because I show up and they tell me no car available, and the lady did not have good manners. Had a one way trip back home. Wont rent through them again

Booked my rental for 10am pickup online. Location called me at 0844 to tell me they had no cars to rent, and cancelled my reservation. Also since i had prepaid online, I had to call another number to inform them that my location cancelled my reservation and they needed to refund me; which takes 3-5 business days. Wht on earth would the online system allowe to make, (and pay for) a reservation ay a location that has no cars available?!?!?!?! Apparently, "Check for Availability" online isn't checking to see if the location actually has cars available, just that your funds are available for them to take....

I reserved and prepaid for a rental but arrived at the location and they told me that they had no car for me (they told the same thing to two other people as well). They told me that I would have to call the corporate office to get a refund and that NO they would not give me a ride to Enterprise up the road. So I walked to Enterprise and everything went very smoothly. I won't be making this mistake again, both with this location and the Budget car rental chain. I'm sorry but it isn't that hard to not oversell. I know of no other industry that can get away with this degree of customer mistreatment. P.S. As of today (March 14), I have yet to get a refund of my prepaid car rental (that I paid for on March 8). Avoid this place like the plague. P.S.2 As of today (March 15) and after a lengthy wait on hold, I finally got through to Budget who promises that I will get a refund in 3-5 days. Apparently the clerk at the counter in Barstow didn't cancel my reservation at all and I guess thought they were going to just get away with keeping my money. I guess I should count my blessings that I'm getting a refund at all, but I don't understand how a business is allowed to take a payment for a product, not deliver said product and then can't manage to get a refund taken care of for this long.
