The Madison Belmont Apartments

Ive been living at the madison for the past 2 years now and let me say, I love it! I recently put in a service request for my clogged bathtub & within just a few hours, both bathtubs in my unit were fixed AND replaced with new tub stoppers. as far as maintenance goes, they are very very quick to help fix anything in your unit. I know that 90% of the time when I put in a service request, it will be fixed either same day or next day. the side of the complex I live in is fairly quiet and neighbors are nice. of course every community living complex has its disadvantages, but thats to be expected. Ive loved living here the past couple of years!!

Living at the Madison was an absolute nightmare for me and my family. Felt like most of the time we were living in the ghetto. Always people blasting there music , even yes late at night ! If youre someone who needs to work or go to school next morning you will not have a peace of mind. The water is always shut off without notice. Every tenant in each building shares the bill so expect the bills to be insanely high. I lived on the middle floor and it was a NIGHTMARE with my neighbors , people above me kids were so loud running and jumping on the floor it would cause our kitchen to shake, things fallen over, the person below me had really bad mental issues police always had to be called to his unit. Washing machines always break and people do touch your clothes , the elevator the whole time I lived there did not work having to go up 3 flights of stairs everyday was terrible especially if youre moving in or moving out. I emailed the owners a lot over issues of mold BLACK mold which is required by law for the owners to fix. They did not care at all. It gets INSANELY hot as well in these units theres no proper airflow in the summer and the windows also are loose they will shake in the wind during cold months. I hope whoever moves here please do research I wish I did almost paid 4K a month and 500+ on water bills cause we all share the bill in the unit. The only good thing that came out of living here is the close transportation. Other then that we couldnt last any longer living here for the sake of mental health and safety.

The best maintenance staff, Mr. Fidel is a very efficient element, always attentive to solving problems that may arise in the apartments, a very efficient, friendly and professional person. The best I am very satisfied living here for 4 years now

AUGUST 2023 UPDATE: We already moved out! We moved to another property in Belmont. It's so nice to be able to breathe without smelling weed in your own home and be able to open the balcony. We were treated badly by the Madison management. It was like living in hell! Luis is the worst manager. We were good tenants and yet we were treated badly! JUNE 2023 Terrible management. The manager Luis doesn't answer emails and phone calls. Dirty complex. Smells like weed everywhere including in our apartment and bathroom. Units are in bad condition. Hallways are dirty! Nasty elevators - always broken. Terrible laundry facilities - always broken. Washer and dryer were broken for over a month and we didn't hear anything from the management! No apologies...no compensation. Nothing! Tenants were calling the Wash company themselves. Laundry facilities access is included in the contract but the management doesn't want to have anything to do with it. Galina didnt even bother to tell us how the washer and dryer worked and where it was located when we moved in. We didnt know it was on every floor but on the other side of the building. Same thing happened with other new tenants. They didnt know how it worked and we had to help them. Garbage bins are always overflowing! Parking garage has garbage. Unit can get real hot like an oven in the summer! Can't open balcony! Very noisy! A lot of cussing and bad words rap! We heard fights on our first week here at this place and we thought that time we made a mistake moving here. And that wasnt the only fight we heard. The hallway from the garage to the elevator smells like pee! They also turn off the water without notice. And also, this is NOT a non-smoking property. My child has asthma and I mentioned that to Luis. We smell smoke inside our apartment especially in my child's bedroom. But Luis didn't do anything. This is a health issue! They advertised it's a non smoking property but some tenants smoke! This place can't be a 4-star. The management probably bribed the tenant to leave a good review. This place is the worst. You will be immune to the smell of weed.

Very ugly apartment complex. You share electricity and water bills with your neighbors. Very narrow entrances which is very bad in an emergency evacuations. Immagine if you are not living there continuously due to job assignments out of town, but you need to pay same amounts of bills with your neighbors. This place is an LOL!
