El Dorado Apartments

El Dorado Apartments is such a great place to live. Close to all business in the heart of Belmont. Amazing school district. The building is maintained greatly with renovations being made often. We had a great experience with all the management here and would like to say a special thank you to Bruce, Kay, Kash and Patricia. There is an internal app where we can make rent payments, add maintenance tickets and add any info related to the renting, this makes everything so much easier and the maintenance requests are seen and taken care of very quickly. They added a little farm on the backyard where we have harvester of different fresh products and it's available for all the building residents, we also had our own car park spot and guest parking on the building. We had the best experience here and only left because we bought a house in the meantime. I'd highly recommend this place to live.

I lived in the El Dorado Apartments for 9 years. Not only is the location beautiful, the units are large and have everything you could ask for. The best part, however, is the way they are managed. The owners have high standards and integrity when it comes to being responsive, generous, and extremely fair. They care about quality and upgrades that will last even if it costs them a little more. It is run by actual people and not a corporation that is trying to nickel and dime you. These characteristics are a rarity among landlords. The only downside I would say is that it is still an old building and you can hear normal "apartment neighbor noises" just like any building, but you get used to it. If I ever need to move back to the peninsula, I would not hesitate to return. Thank you!! :)

My family has lived here for 2.5 years and it's been our best living experience to date. As many others have said, the location can't be beat...my 2 and 5 year old love the library next door and I can literally see them playing at the library's playground next door when my partner takes them over there). Lunardi's is a gem of a grocery story, Waterdog Tavern is about as hip as the suburbs get, and ACE Hardware has saved us on multiple occasions.The managers are quick to reply to any issue and all apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows. Mine are in my living room, and the sunlight that streams in is a joy. Plus, the ceilings are significantly higher than any apartment I've ever lived in, adding to the overall spaciousness of the space.We are house hunting now but I'll be sad to leave!

For context: We've lived here for several years and would have loved to stay, but we have external circumstances that move us out the area entirely. We can speak to our unit only since that's what we're familiar with. The property: + Our unit had Floor to ceiling windows, looking out to directly to lush trees and a quiet oasis. Great natural light. + high ceilings in the living room (9 feet, typical is 8 feet) - making the unit feel extremely spacious. + upgraded appliances (and they'll make sure everything's in working order and more than reasonable about any requests you may have.)+ the carpet was to our liking, and wood flooring in the kitchen/dining spaces which made for easy cleaning. + layout was very open, spacious and made most of the square footage. + new wood balcony/deck was a huge plus for storage and just being able to sit outside peacefully.Community amenities:+ ample trash bins on site (I am going to miss this!) + walking distance (less than 1 minute) to grocery store and conveniences (UPS Store, Restaurants, starbucks, Jamba Juice) around the corner + package closet - for secure amazon deliveries (I will miss this also!) + everyone's courteous to one another and minds their own business at the same time , which was the perfect blend for me.Landlords:+ Kay and Bruce are the best landlords we've had. (How many times do you hear about people being a fan of their landlord?) They make living here a delight. They are prompt, professional, honest, reliable human beings. For some people their landlord or apartment neighbors can be a source of stress but for us we can breathe a sigh of relief when we come home because we know we're taken care of here. + sometimes for a community safety update or logistical update Kay will text the community and I always felt they had my best interest in mind including health and safety. It's just the right amount of engagement I'd expect from a good landlord. + if there's a community issue or something with a tree or an appliance or parking spot, trash chute, door locks, etc they respond promptly and always close the loop to make sure you are taken care of. + they care for the property and you'll see them around the grounds making sure things are looking in tip top shape. + I'll always remember when we first moved in they left us a gift basket with some immediate things we might need (dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, granola bar, etc) -- and I was delighted at their attention to detail and level of care. I truly felt welcomed and at home. + since that moment my trust and appreciation of Kay has maintained the same and she's proven herself over and over to be a very good person that I appreciate as my landlord. I hope if you're considering this property you'll enjoy it as much as we have.

My mother lived here for 7 years and loved it.  Kay is the best and loved my mother.  Thank you Kay for everything.
