    I happened to have my SUV serviced the very first day AutoNation took over the Mazda dealership. I have always appreciated the friendly and competent staff, and the prompt and fairly-priced service; I spoke to the new management about this. So far, so good! Wishing old staff and new management success in all the adjustments. I look forward to continued good service.

    I had an extremely terrible experience here. My appointment was at 11:20 AM. The second I walked in, the place was chaotic. The staff looked flustered and there were a million people running around. I was there for an oil change and asked how long it would take. The guy was honest and told me it would take about two hours. I made sure to ask that my car wash would be included as I paid for services etc. when I got the car. When I went to the lounge for customers, there was no water, the coffee machine was broken, no TVs on, and again it was so chaotic. I brought my book and some other things as I knew it might take a while, but I had no idea what I was in store for. I ended up waiting THREE hours for my oil change. (Didn't leave until 2:22pm). I actually had to go downstairs and ask when it would be ready and if the wash was being completed. I was told there were some recommendations for my car but that they would finish immediately so that I could get to my next appointment. I was told to give 10 more minutes and my car would come around washed and ready. I decided to wait for the wash since I was told how long it would take and I would be able to make my next appointment. About 15 minutes later, the car comes around, completely unwashed, no sticker indicating when my next service would be, all of my mirrors and seat had not been adjusted back, and no one discussed anything with me about my car. I wasn't given any type of paperwork, indicating what had been done either. I had to go back inside and ask where my paperwork was. The entire desk was filled with papers and the guy told me he could probably get me some documentation. Thankfully, I was handed a sheet of paper but I honestly didn't even feel confident that an oil change was actually completed since there was no communication about anything. I ended up being 10 minutes late to my next appointment. This was my first time to the shop as I recently moved to Oceanside. I was honestly extremely angry and upset when I left the shop and I don't think I'll ever return to this one. Such a waste of time and money.

    The shuttle driver, Floyd and office managers were great. Unfortunately, the one service guy at the front desk has a bad attitude whenever I go there. Otherwise, beautiful facility.

    AutoNation Mazda, was an okay experience. I was told that Bob Baker is no more and now is AutoNation Mazda. Not sure why they changed ownership but not the same experience that I used too. I was told by service advisors that the computer systems are new and having lots of issues which lead to my car schedule at 8:00am not being finished until 4:00pm for oil and filter change. I was told that there are a couple of additional items that are recommended, but I need the car back and asked to have them itemized the additional recommended items to be mention with quotes on the invoice, but no items were listed when I came to pick the car up after hours with the sales department. I might be looking for another dealership closer to home since quality is not as it was before. This is a good 40 min drive without traffic and not willing to drive that far for service that is not up to the same level as Bob Bakers service was before the new ownership. Hopefully they improve and get back to the same quality as before.
