Broadacres Pre-School

My daughter goes to school and loves it! She gets to play outside and play with kids her own age. It's perfect for 3 hrs a day and they teach them and doesn't force it on them so I think that's great way to teach them at this age. They have horses on the property they get to see/pet/feed before and after school!

I sent my three daughters to Broadacres. Each one had a unique and lovely experience at the school. They learned from excellent examples how to behave in the world. All three were so prepared for school and were very successful. It's a peaceful place that we recall so fondly.

Broadacres is an amazing school! The thing that sets it apart is the love that permeates the atmosphere. The teachers care so much about the children and go the extra mile to make the projects and activities special and interactive. I recommend this pre-school 100%!

Broadacres is a truly unique preschool.  My granddaughter is a graduate and is now 7 years old.  We visit 'Ms. Betty' 3 to 4 times every year so g'daughter can feed the horses, knock on Ms. Betty's door (she lives there) and give her a hug.  My g'daughter post-Broadacres attended 3 preschools  before going to Kindergarten, but the only one she remembers and wants to return to is Broadacres.  Ms. Betty and her staff are 'old school', stressing manners, how to feed horses (palm up), sneezing in your elbow, being respectful of others, and, of course, Ms. Betty's accordion music.  If you want those wonderful basics for your children, go to Broadacres.After 4 years, my g'daughter remembers and returns w/me to see Ms. Betty (give her a hug) and feed the resident horsies carrots.It's so much more than a preschool, it's a lifetime memory.

This amazing small school is a hidden gem of Palos Verdes. My son loves going there! This is a place where you child will get a lot of personal attention; the school is small and teacher/child ratio is great.  It feels like home, but with a lot more toys and activities to offer :) The yard is very spacious and it has a natural shadow of trees, so that it is never too hot outside. Different climbing structures and outside toys make it very appealing for the kids to play outside. The school creates this calm atmosphere that allows children to mature emotionally and developmentally without extra rush and nervousness of the nowadays world. Children are surrounded by nature and loving attention from the teachers.The schedule is M-F from 9 to 12 and you can pick any days to attend. They provide snack, which is very convenient for me :) Also, this school is very affordable, their fees are much less comparing to other pre-schools in the area. If you want to give your child an opportunity to play, learn and get social skills in a loving and safe environment, this is a school for you! I feel so grateful that I found it.
