Discovery World Early Education Center

Both of our sons went to Discovery for preschool. The teachers from Julie, Dina, to Keri were all loving, caring, and patient teachers. Liana and Sheryl were also very hands on and made sure the school was a safe and good learning environment. I highly recommend this school.

This review is long overdue! I wanted to thank each and every one of you for giving my daughter some of the best memories in her early schooling that she's had to date. Ever since the pandemic unfolded, it has been an extremely difficult challenge to make sure the kids were safe and engaged, but Discovery World was attentive and relentless in succeeding for all of the students. Not only were they supportive of the kids and parents, but to all the local businesses in the Promenade that got involved. I thought it was amazing to see businesses like the karate studio and the ice skating rink engage along with their enrichment because it helped everyone get through these difficult times together. Thank you Liana and the wonderful Discovery World staff for keeping us in the loop with our daughter's activity throughout the day. These are memories and times that will be cherished forever, and I'm glad we made the right decision choosing you all for our daughter's preschool.

My son who has been going here since he was 2 years old. He is 5 and just graduated Kindergarten there. We went through a divorce and this school has been such a blessing to us specifically Kari Austria who was his kindergarten teacher. We have had so many meetings because we were concerned about how the divorce will affect our child. He is thriving, joyous, life loving and kind mainly due to the level of care, attention and structure Kari and the staff there have provided. The only two complaint is that they still require masks indoors and if the adults who want to participate or volunteer for anything, has to be vaccinated. So ridiculous, that's why i'm only giving 4 stars. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with the staff, curriculum and activities this school provides. Kari has been a godsend to me and my son.

I understand that things happen in life, and schedules change. That's completely understandable. What isn't understandable is having a 10:45am appointment over the phone, and waiting 25 minutes for a call that didn't happen. What isn't understandable is sending a confirmation and follow up email- which shows a read receipt- and not having any response from the company. Very poor customer service. Greatly disappointed.

Our 18 month old daughter attended the infant program at Discovery and we absolutely fell in love. We had to take her out since we moved and our commute was getting crazy. Her teachers especially Azra were amazing. The entire time we were there we felt our baby was in very safe hands. Before sending her to school we showed up multiple times at discovery so we could get our daughter comfortable to the school and each time Liana and Cheryl were extremely accommodating and welcoming. They also have an excellent app for daily updates that sends pictures, videos and summary of activities done for the day which was very comforting to us. I felt they were very structured in their education of our daughter - which is something we have been looking for. Also they provide organic food which is so fantastic. I wish we could go back to Discovery and possibly one day we will. Good luck and don't think twice about sending your kids to Discovery! We highly recommend it!
