When we arrived everything was very good. But the next day at 7 in the morning an unbearable noise of drums and speakers due to an apparent strike Rooms: There is a strike outside, the noise is unbearable, the room was not cleaned, the breakfast very poor. I never come again and they didn't even give me a discount. Is a gotcha

Usually a very nice hotel, but staff striking b/c of poor pay and benefits. Striking employees are making lots of noise and ruining our experience. Not sure if we will return if we have to deal with this again.

This hotel is currently part of some sort of labor action. I woke up to chaotic noises in the hotel that sounded like a riot. When I came down the elevator, the noises became deafening, almost like an apocalypse. Once I arrived to the hotels breakfast area, I found a half dozen union protestors inside the hotel with noise devices. The hotel staff made no effort to remove the protestors from inside the facility. My ears rang all day after that exposure. My kids reported similar experiences. The protestors remained outside of the hotel the entire day with drums and bullhorns, rendering the outdoor pool area useless (as it was too loud to hear yourself think). Zero communication from management despite me attempting to contact them 3 different times. Until this hotel settles its labor dispute, this could happen to you. Be advised, the hotel gave me zero warning.. and offered zero accommodation. When in California, dontt cross picket lines Update: just read an article that describes this hotel as one of only a couple that failed to settle with the union. So literally, you can stay anywhere else and avoid this nonsense.

Worst stay ever. Smells like very strong urine and Seen an unhoused man assault a woman and her child right outside of the hotel. Front desk had to get security out and I had to check out extremely early. The front desk lady apologized and insisted I would not be charged for stay however I still got charged.
