        The Watergate is magnificent. It harkens back to its midcentury roots but manages to incorporate modern amenities and technology. The staff is exceptional and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only two items we noted were a weak hairdryer and no wash towels. But these were small items in comparison to the wonderful experience and ambience. I highly recommend this hotel!!

        My husband always wanted to stay at the spy watergate hotel. We were on the 14th floor so we could see the river and garden as well as the Washington monument from our window. It was such a fun stay. There is valet so we were even happier. Plus side: the fridge is filled with an assortment of drinks and some treats are on the table for purchase.

        We loved our stay at The Watergate. The staff is absolutely fantastic, the views are great, and the history of the property is fascinating. We had a suite with river views and the room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. We hosted a small event at the hotel and the catering and service couldn't have been better. We will have a hard time staying anywhere else when we are in DC.
