I'm very disappointed with this hotel. I made my reservation for 12/8-12/10. My husband and I came for my cousin's surprise birthday party. We checked in 12/8 it was cold that weekend and when we entered the room it was freezing, my husband turned on the heat but the room wouldn't get warm. My husband went to the front desk to advise the clerk and she said we don't have any other rooms available and my manager is aware. My slept in our clothes. The next morning my husband and I went to eat breakfast and when we came back the room was still cold. My husband went back to the front desk, this clerk was helpful, she had someone bring us a heater. My husband and I left for the party that started at 3 and when we returned a little after 8pm, the heater didn't work. My husband and I decided to check out. I have a history of pneumonia and I wasn't able to stay in those conditions. We explained to the clerk what happened, she apologized and advised we wouldn't be charged for 2 nights $278. 98 and printed a receipt for $139. 39. A few weeks later, I see my credit card statement and I was charged the full amount. I called the hotel for 2 weeks requesting a manager and was told to call back in the morning when the manager was there. I called corporate and was advised to call the hotel. I tried to dispute it with my credit card company but they replied saying the charge was valid because I left after 8. The issue I have, is that's not what I was told and I was never able to speak to a manager in regards to this issue. I have never stayed at the Comfort Inn and never will again. The customer service, the rooms, and the cleaniness was unacceptable. I have never experienced such rude and unprofessionalism in my life. I never leave a review, but I wanted to make people aware who are traveling and in the area. Tamara Noteworthy details: It sucks
