My experience with ARS has been just what I needed. Another company I had been using wasn't adequately solving my A/C issues after several visits and a lot of money spent. Nick, ARS' technician, came out, understood my frustrations, and was very personable. He explained my issues in detail and filled me in on information that previous A/C techs had missed. He gave me an honest explanation of what was going on in my system and did his best to give me reasonable repair and payment options. Overall, Nick provided a greater level of service than I expected, considering the service I was getting prior to calling ARS. This is a company that apparently Home Depot partners with to give estimates and work for HVAC. We contacted them thru a Home Depot flyer that we picked up at our local store to get an estimate for a Mini Split Unit for our basement. On the first call, they which was on a Thursday, they confirmed that they would be out on the upcoming Saturday (within 2 days)- we were excited they were coming out so quickly but that was short lived. On Saturday after we had changed all our plans, a mere 15-20 mins before they were to arrive they said an emergency came up and needed to rescheduled for Monday- ok no problem. Again, moved my schedule and my husbands schedule so that we could both be home when they arrived. Monday came and again, we received a call shortly before they were due to arrive that again, needed to reschedule the appointment. At this point, my husband spoke with the agent and was not too happy that now they could not come our for a week, the following Monday to give us the estimate. Now, we get to the next Monday and yes, again they called 20 mins before the arrival date and said, sorry we need to now reschedule and this time it would be the end of the following month. Seems to me that this company really does not want our business. I would highly suggest to NOT seek out this company for any work- if they care so little about taking care of potential customers, I would hate to actually have an issue and be a customer with this company. One of the worst experiences I have ever had trying to get service... also just as an FYI- we did report this to Home Depot as well, hoping that they do not continue to use this company as they are not dependable or reliable. My rating is a complete ZERO!
