Not worth the rent theyre asking for. They charge $1300/month for appliances that have been there since James Evans proposed to Florida. And every time something breaks in this ancient apartment, its your fault and youre the one charged for it! They never have the better (let alone the best) interest of the tenants in mind. Its all about the dollar! Stay away from 1st Lake!!!! Believe the bad reviews!

Nikki, Nikki, Nikki is all I can say right now. Thank the heavens for you. When I say Nikki is thee best, I really mean it. Nikki made sure my experience was stellar from beginning to the moment the lease was signed. I want to say thank you for your hardwork and making sure we closed the deal. Lived here almost two months now and I can say am yet to have a good night sleep because of my neighbors on the second floor they walk and stomp there feet on the floor and I can hear them snoring at nights annoying as hell feel like am losing my mind and it's pointless to make a report because how can you tell someone paying $1537 a month how to walk in there own home. Also this place needs better appliances and upgrade not worth my $1537 a month.

Mold was found in my apartment (wish I had pictures before they tore my walls down as the solution.) My walls were left like this for nearly a year until I moved. I asked the office if they could fix it multiple times before my lease ended and was told there was nothing that could be done. Ended up having to move all the way to Baton Rouge and on the week before move out, I received a call that they were Coming into the apartment to replace the sheetrock to put back on the market. The second picture is from constant construction (VERY loud and disturbing) on the roof breaking my already broken walls even more. Wood chips were all over my apartment. I also had to have rat traps placed around my apartment because due to the walls being clearly exposed, Id hear scratching in the walls constantly. Ive been with 1st lake for 3+ years and was simply told that thered be no compensation and when I asked if they had any other rooms available to rent, the office said they did not and Id have to settle for the room I have. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Spend more money if you must.
