Drakes Island Resort

We love it here and Chelsea is amazing!!!

Drakes Island Resort offers clean rooms that are stocked with supplies to make you feel more comfortable during your stay. They offered coffee makers in each room, refrigerator, and microwave. They offered amenities such as cups, shampoo and conditioner, and really nice bar soap, too. The rooms are quaint. The king bed was very comfortable. The extra large pillows were very plush. The staff is friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the easy after-hours check-in. The area is very nice and we felt safe, even at night. The pictures we took were in the morning, sorry for the unmade bed. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay here. Very well kept and super clean.Very nice and friendly staff.Comfy bed.Great location.Easy reservations.We had an excellent experience!We'll definately be back! 2nd time,as good as the first,Chelsea the do it all person is do nice and friendly too!You wont regret booking here! Rooms: Small but very nicely decorated,comfy bed and pillows! Nearby activities: Great beach,stores,restaurants and activities for all Safety: Very safe Noteworthy details: Perfect location,Dollar store right across the street has anything you could need or forgot

Chelsey is an amazing host! The resort was central to both food, shops, and the ocean (where parking was pretty easy!). Chelsey texted us when the room was ready (early too!) and was so knowledgeable about good food to fit my husband's dietary needs. When we arrived we went right to the perfect temperature pool to begin unwinding. The rooms were clean, had great AC, and a larger mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The beds were comfy and despite being nearer to the road I didn't notice road noises with the AC on (and I'm a country gal)! I purchased some yogurt for breakfast and didn't have a spoon, Chelsey had some handy! There are also grills around the property for use too. The best part is this place is SUPER dog friendly! I regret that we didn't bring our pups this round as they love the ocean. What a great place! This wasn't a loud party area either, which we appreciated. Nearby activities: Ocean, Rachel Carson Preserve, Laughlin Farms, Antiquing....
