The leasing office is not responsive and it's very frustrating. When I moved out, I made sure my apartment was completely spotless to assure the return of my security deposit. I still haven't seen not $1 of it and it was about $2,000 that I should've been refunded. They do not respond to emails or calls at all. The building is nice but the leasing management is terrible. I do not recommend, save yourself the headache.

Greystar officially took over management managing the highline on February 22nd and it was definitely like a breath of fresh air I was able to talk to an assistant property manager and got answers to my questions without any attitude or Hemming and Hawing. I also wanted to give a shout out to the concierge Teyona Thomas who is always helpful!

I am happy with my experience as a resident at The Highline Apts. Teyonna is great! She provides wonderful customer service. She is always a joy. Greystar is the new property management company and they have positively changed the dynamic. This property is a lot better with Greystar. I love living here!! This used to be an office building so you dont hear your neighbors. This building is secured by key fob access. There is a package room and Amazon Hub so you dont have to worry about packages being left unsecured. This is a safe area with plenty of nearby shops and public transportation.

This is just a expensive rent and thats it.
-The concierges persons NEVER answer the phone calls or messages.
The concierge that is working during the weekends, is too LAZY, he dont do absolutely NOTHING.
-The persons in the office are extremely rude, and the dont take work orders over the phone.
-People in the gym are doing whatever they want and management do absolutely nothing.
There is Marihuana smells around every floor and management dont care about that.
-There is vandalism around the parking spots.
-Packages gets lost because concierges do to many mistakes.
Please dont come here just pay an expensive rent.

I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
I had previously left a positive and accurate review, but my experience since the change in management under Grey Star has been extremely disappointing. After living here for three years, the past two weeks have been the worst by far.
The community manager, Thomas Gibson, has been incredibly unpleasant and even hostile towards me and external organizations. This includes him raising his voice, expressing dissatisfaction of discussion he did not agree with, refusing to provide me and external organization with necessary information, refusing to answer work related questions, expressing that he "shouldn't have to go above in beyond" to provide said request, and continue to deflective or avoid supporting when asked for assistance. Despite promises of fostering a harmonious community, these claims have proven to be false.
The stress caused by this situation is completely unfair and could have been avoided with professionalism. Although management has assured their support, Thomas Gibson's actions seem to align more with his personal ideals.
For instance, during a recent interaction, it was evident that Thomas Gibson was dismissive and confrontational, leaving me feeling marginalized and unheard. Despite expressing my concerns to management, there has been little to no resolution, further exacerbating my distress.
I would hate for anyone else to experience the confusion and disrespect I have faced. I have heard from other residents who have had similar interactions with him. Additionally, it has come to my attention that staff in the rental office have been discussing my living situation and personal belongings, which is unsettling and questionable.
I am not seeking payback; I simply want fairness for all residents. My fear is that if this treatment persists for a few, it may affect the majority. I have not asked for anything beyond my rights, nor have I disrespected any staff or property.
This confusing and unprofessional situation is unacceptable. I deserve respect and fair treatment, as do all residents. While Grey Star has the opportunity to make positive changes, this is not a great start. I am deeply disappointed, stressed, and hurt.
I urge Grey Star to take this feedback seriously and consider the impact of their actions on the well-being of their residents. We deserve better, and I hope that positive changes can be made to restore the integrity of our community.
