Staff is wonderful. I spend a lot of time here with my mom and I am really impressed with the staff. They are always friendly and willing to help.

I wholeheartedly recommend Samaritas for their outstanding commitment to their residents. The residents well-being coincides with the staff's kindness and knowledge is easily recognized upon arrival. The range of activities they provide and the emphasis on personalized, outside of the box, care make it truly an exceptional place. Samaritas is truly a home filled with love and compassion. My mom moved into a one-bedroom, independent-living apartment at Samaritas Senior Living in September of 2020. We picked Samaritas because we thought it was the nicest senior-apartment facility in the area, and it was very near to my home. At that time, Mom was no longer able to live safely in her colonial home fifteen miles from mine, but she couldn't recognize that, so the move wasn't entirely her idea. However, in a short while she came to really like the amenities, the social interaction with other residents, and the friendly, supportive and caring staff at Samaritas. Recently (Nov 2021), it became clear that independent living was now beyond mom's abilities, so we moved her into the other wing at Samaritas, which is assisted living. To make things simpler, her new apartment is a nice efficiency, with a roomy bathroom, and a small kitchenette with sink and small refrigerator. In this new apartment she gets regular assistance from staff including personal care, delivery of medications and three meals per day. The support, nursing and administrative staff have all been kind, caring, and responsive. My family chose Samaritas for mom because we believed it was the best choice. And we still think so. In warm weather mom loves sitting outside on one of the patios or, more frequently these days, on the back deck overlooking the back pond. In all, Samaritas is a lovely place for both independent seniors and those who need more assistance. Mom is happy there, and I wish we could have convinced her to move out of her house a few years earlier so she could have more fully enjoyed the Samaritas experience when she was more capable. In all, my wife and I are very pleased with mom's living situation -- and more importantly, mom is too. I highly recommend Samaritas for any senior citizen who wants to simplify life in an independent-living apartment, or who needs more support in an assisted-living facility. Thank you, Samaritas!

My parents moved here about 18 months ago. Sadly my dad passed away last December. The care he received from the assisted living staff was outstanding. My mom remains here in independent living. The staff is committed to keeping all residents happy and safe. Warm and friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. So happy I found this wonderful community for my parents.

I teach exercise at Samaritas Bloomfield Hills, Michigan....been there for several years.... and I have to say that management is completely dedicated to the health and welfare of all their residents. We have 40 minute sessions 3 times a week. Lifting weights and stretching. In the last couple years, we've also added an advanced class, pertaining to those who are able to do stand up and balance exercises, as well as resistance training. This facility was the only one that kept me in business during the pandemic. I was teaching outside in the courtyard, everybody safe inside watching me lead the class, whether it was cold and snowing or sweltering hot with a fan on me. For that, I am ever so grateful. I would absolutely encourage everyone to take a look at this marvelous facility. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful and cheerful. And the summer/fall annual parties are amazing with the best food and entertainment. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed!
