    Nice clean room, great shower, handy location. The day shift employee I encountered wasn't very pleasant....at all, but the nighttime girl was super sweet! The TV in my room didn't work which was kind of a bummer but that is really my only complaint. Would stay here again!

    This place is egregious. The desk girl (summer) made a pass to join her "in an unoccupied" room. When I turned her done she called my room and gave us 1 hours to leave. I had paid a week in advance. While moving out she used a tool to enter our room while I was loading the car then proceeded to tell my child he shouldn't be alone. Horrible place turned out to be a nightmare hotel. We found a camera in our room and I have an idea who it belonged to. This place isn't safe for children to be there. Esp with a predator like summer there.

    The reviews about the housekeeping are spot on: if I hadn't already used points to pay for the room and could have cancelled for a full refund I would have. Used soap still in the bathroom, dirty toilet, no towels, broken window, sheets smelled like perfume which made me think they hadn't been changed, and dirty floors. I should also have called ahead about the pet fee because no way would I have expected it to be $75. Apparently it's a one time charge so if you're staying there 3+ days it's to your benefit, but we stayed for just one night. That was a painful hit and the front desk wouldn't budge on the policy, both when I called in and later when I checked in. Nowhere did I see that in the fine print when I booked on-line. Most definitely won't be staying here again.

    Seemingly poor management and maintenance combined! Despite renovation in the last year we encountered bathroom door that would not close (face of door separating from core), heater that didn't work (had to call front desk for blankets at midnight), kitchen drawer pull hanging by one screw, cleaning carts left in hallways overnight, pile of clean linens left at end of the hall for a couple of days, and trash can full of used kleenex and dental floss, and heavy smell of smoke in entry hall (100% nonsmoking hotel). [Only some of the issues.] Secondary lock on door bent and would not keep anyone out. Opened door with it on and door opened easily. When I reported bathroom door, front desk said "we know" and handed me a pad to record other issues. Should they be renting that room? This could be a good place to stay but we will not be. Third Candlewood Suites we stayed at that week; others were above average to excellent. We will check ratings more carefully. This was a good location for us but there are other hotels in the area the deserve our business. Noteworthy details: Poor maintenance and staff doesn't to be able to correct. People talking and smoking in courtyard, noise megaphones up to rooms.
