it was really confusing when they took over from past ownership some months ago... whenever cres takes over a new property, they do not tell residents until it already has happened, which is just odd and not as transparent as i would like where im living to be. move out was okay and didnt get charged much besides a cleaning fee (which wasnt listed in the lease i had of move out charges) but leading up to it, maintenance had parked in my reserved spot, was charged for insurance when i had my own but was eventually fixed after having to go to the office multiple times to ask, was a smoke free property but staff stood by the office to smoke when they wanted to not to mention our breezeway smelled like piss for weeks before moving out there was always dumpster divers, pet waste everywhere-especially since they took away pooprints and the pet waste stations which helped a lot when they had it.
i appreciated how they worked with us however as we had a lot of things wrong in our apartment before they took over, but was stressful trying to make sure we wouldnt get charged an arm and a leg because of it.
also,to add, i have had a few of my friends tour there, and the same feedback was always given from them: office staff is rude, and seems dismissive//fake
their upgraded apartments were updated light fixtures, and some smaller things like upgraded faucet heads. it looks nice but not for what i was paying vs what theyre charging.
i also lost my previous discounts when they took over which wasnt communicated to me at first so i had to pay more in rent and ask previous management for assistance.
overall, i wouldnt live here again not impressed, especially hearing back from people just touring.
edit: our experience with the power washing, although completed after we moved out, was still annoying having to deal with before we moved out. while i was and am still fine with how the charges ended up, i was simply stating how things played out. with the discount, regardless, it was still stressful having to pay more abruptly without being properly told. nothing was honored, which is disappointing. and those who have taken tours, will not be coming back due to the way they were treated.

I have been nothing but impressed with the management and maintenance team. After the management was switched last year, they have continually offered great service and gone above and beyond to make improvements in the apartments. Thank you Sherwood/Cres!

Ive really enjoyed living at Sherwood Village over the past few years, but Cres, the new management group has honestly made it even better, making improvements across the whole complex from the start.
I appreciate the whole team for being nothing but friendly and accommodating from the beginning. You all are awesome!

First of all, the property manager, Mrs. Harris, is fantastic! She answered every question I had and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Second, the apartment was immaculate on move in day. Finally, the entire place has been peaceful and quiet. I couldn't have asked for a better place and the price is more than reasonable.
