I hired David to remove mold from my elderly fathers home. David was so caring when it came to explaining what he was going to do. I contacted Greene Planet because my dad used them and had a good experience with them. I had researched encapsulation for a few months and knew a bit about it. David responded quickly and provided a decent quote for work. They came out, took around a week, and then David called me one evening saying the job was done and it looked fantastic. I went to look at the completed work and it was anything but that. Seams werent taped, none of the vents were sealed, massive areas of bare floor were exposed, pillars werent taped, etc. I spoke with David and he said he misunderstood his workers, even though he originally told me he saw the work done. He said they needed more time and werent finished. A couple days later he says theyre finished. I went and checked it, and it was better. David originally told me hed make a PVC door for me as well, which did not exist yet. I found 3 vents that still were not sealed and 2 that had foam board but no spray foam around the edges. The taped seams were awful and there were so many gaps that allowed vapor to enter through. There was an area of bare floor and wall that had no plastic, and the backside of one pillar had no plastic. One sump pump wasnt even plugged in. The drain pipes could have been placed much deeper, but they do their job. The plastic along the walls was fastened with plastic pins all around and sealed at the entrance to about 10 away with a sealant, but that was it. Vapor will move up the walls and enter the crawl space if its not sealed. I spoke with David about the crawl space door. It took about another week but an employee came out and made a PVC door on site. It was horrible. They jammed it into the opening and it didnt seal anything. It took some muscling to get it out and I immediately disposed of it. I put a piece of cut foam board back that I had made which was much better. I then decided Greene Planet was no longer going to return to my house and made no attempt to contact David, since it was apparent to me that nothing would be fixed correctly now that I had paid them. I went around and sealed the entire wall on my own. I went and re-taped a majority of the seams and its still a work in progress. I covered the bare areas with plastic and sealed the vents. Prior to this my dehumidifier ran non-stop. After I did all this it finally shut off. Greene Planet did the bulk of the annoying work, like laying plastic down, but the rest was awful. I plan on inspecting my dads home to see if the walls and seams were unfinished as well. A side note, they also could have disposed of their trash but it was left scattered on the site. Edit: I checked my dads installation awhile back. He had multiple vents not sealed and the majority of the barrier along the wall wasnt sealed. Recently his Santa Fe dehumidifier stopped working. It was still within the manufacturers warranty, so he contacted Greene Planet. They said theyd handle it and took the dehumidifier. That was at least 3 months ago. For full disclosure, my Santa Fe went out too, but I contacted the manufacturer and they had it replaced within a week. Greene Planet wont return his calls anymore. They took his neighbors too and havent returned it yet either.

Greene Planet Mold did a great job removing the mold in the crawlspace of my house. Zack and his team did an amazing job, communicated well, always pleasant. Yes would recommend them.
