Puff pastry dough super-thin walls. How is this even called a luxury home? My neighbor has an expensive noisy white BMW but lives in an apartment. Additionally you have to climb on the 3rd floor to use the bathroom. Not luxury at all but inconvenience. Light switches are made of strings that need to be pulled 3 or 4 times just to turn on the light. Okay I get it, this is your kind of luxury. Fridge is too old without any ice & water dispenser. Noisy squeaky floors and stairs. Endless rain all year round. No sun enjoyment in Oregon. Las Vegas still has the best weather. Not planning on coming back here. Not in a million years. Oregon is nothing but endless unenjoyable rain and high state taxes that will eat up your paycheck.

Just moved here a few weeks ago and it was a nerve-wracking experience. However, the office staff made things a breeze!
As far as maintenance goes, Carlos, Jose, and Josh are fantastic and always do a great job.
The community, nestled along Rock Creek Trail, is clean, beautiful, and quiet.
Update- one year in and still LOVE our townhome and the people who keep this place looking great! I never thought Id love renting but it sure is nice to get things fixed immediately and to live in a place that is kept so beautifully!
Year 2 - they raised the rent a LOT (the maximum)! Not at all happy about that, but were stuck because buying a home anywhere around here is crazy expensive. Still love it here.
Esther and Misho, who were utterly amazing in the office, are no longer working here (and Josh is no longer here either) so that isnt very reassuring. Now we have Kade and Joe (two new people who we were never notified about).
Just got a letter about our rent- 10% more AGAIN! So, in 3 years the rent has gone up a LOT, which is unfortunate.
Update - It is mid-September, but the weather is still in the 80s and 90s. WHY oh WHY must they close the pool right after Labor Day weekend? Still plenty of days to enjoy the sunshine and the pool. Makes zero sense. Were told the jacuzzi is open year-round, but the jets barely work.
The clubhouse has been renovated and its beautiful. However, its just to make an impression. No one utilizes it. Its a large, lonely place. There has never been one single event in that clubhouse that involves the people who live here. How about a happy hour where people can meet their neighbors? Also, theres a big bbq area but, again, there have never been any organized events for people to get together. Neighbors do NOT know neighbors.
Heres something new in the age of technologythey decided to nail, next to our front doors, a black binder clip, to attach important notices. Most people come home into their garages and DONT see these notices.

Ahh - just got a text to remind us that there will be a food truck outside the office tonight.
Sooooo.for THAT they know how to send you a message, but to let you know people will be walking on your roof all day? Nope. Note clipped to outside, where no one looks.
Update - March, 2024. Billie is no longer the property manager and already theres been great changes! They EMAILED us a cute newsletter, letting us know about weekly food trucks, a plant give-away, helpful cleaning hints, AND the introduction of a NEW property manager named Cait. Perhaps all we needed was a change in THAT position!
Update- got a lovely wet piece of paper, clipped to the side of my door letting me know that people will be coming to our hone any time during one specific week. Any time. Why cant notices like that be emailed to us??? And cant you kind of guesstimate when theyll be coming to the buildings?
