Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greensburg, an IHG Hotel

Location was confusing. Either drive through pot hole retail plaza and up the hill or past and right up Blair. Tried to get back on Rt 30 for dinner. Very congested. Room was nice as expected. I stayed 3-4 nights a week for 20 years before retiring. We still stay there when vacationing. Shower head was so high she couldn't reach it. TV was outdated. Service at desk she was friendly but not at desk when we arrived. In the office. No bell. She had tattoos all over her chest, arms and fingers. Did not represent your brand well. A long sleeve button down the front shirt instead of sagging low cut blouse would have covered most. Pancake machine spitting out quarter size pancakes after he fixed it. Workers in kitchen not well groomed and dressed. Eggs available were only made with egg whites ( no taste ) or spicy like Cajun. Don't most people eat regular cheese omelet ? Bacon was hard as a rock. Desk associate and breakfast were not what I am used to at IHG. Was going to do a review on IHG site but needed my password. Really, for a review ? By the way, I stayed at a HI Ex in Winchester Va last Monday. $95.20. Perfect. Checked all boxes. Paid $175 in Greensburg and no where near comparable

The rooms were clean and well maintained. However, in order to adjust the shower head you needed to be a yeti! It was VERY high up and I'm 5'6. Also there were no safety strips on the bottom of the tub causing it to be slippery. Front desk woman might be efficient and good at her job, but she doesn't present a professional appearance. Shirt was low cut and all tattoos visible. A buttoned to shirt or higher crew neck would be more appropriate. The breakfast area was not clean. Crumbs everywhere. The condition of the counters were very reflective of the 2 men who were working in that area. Very sloppy looking.

Great location, many restuarants nearby. Rooms were alright, slightly outdated and not the cleanest, but still decent for an overnight. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Pool area was great and clean for kids. Fitness center was very small and windows open to the hallway, not very private if that is important to some. Overall, we would probably stay again.

Ive been to this hotel a couple of times. Just looking for an affordable, comfortable and clean place to call home base while visiting family. The front desk staff have been friendly, kind and helpful. Last visit Betty accommodated a room change - no questions asked and all with a smile. This is definitely our go to spot in Greensburg and we will be back!

Good location with a great staff. Only problem is the mattresses are as hard as a rock. If you are expecting the comfortable beds that you typically find at a Holiday Inn Express you will be in for a hard nights sleep.
