Avoid at all costs. The ONLY good thing about this place was the nice lady working the front desk, I believe her name was Sabrina. I booked this hotel for a 4-night business trip. The hotel is not what it looks like on the pictures at all, okay whatever, no big deal right. So, my first room was full of dog hair, smelly, and dirty. I couldnt walk around or sit down without getting dog hair on my pants and Im pretty sure I noticed later what seemed to be flea bites on my ankles and feet. Requested a new room, Sabrina very kindly and quickly obliged. On the way to my new room I noticed what seemed to be either white flea powder or fresh scent powder all in the hall outside certain rooms. The new room felt muggy and stale, had a funny smell the floor felt like it was going to fall through from underneath me, from like water damage. I thought okay, avoid that spot when walking. (After reading previous reviews, I assume this was from the recent water damage. So, either not repaired correctly or at all.) The elevator got stuck, WITH people inside it. Also, some random chair that was clearly in a fire was being used to prop open the door to the stairs like why?? The doors in the stairwells kept getting stuck, so youd be stuck in the stairwell and have to go up or down and around. Later we were hanging out in the lobby and a lady, who said her kids needed to go up to their room because she had rooms to clean so I assume she was an employee, was there with her kids. The teenager asked me for money, they were running around, yelling in and out of the kitchen at 930 at night making food. The same teen who asked me for money, I witnessed drinking with his mouth from the soda/juice machines. Another employee came to get after him and asked him how he was turning the drink machines on, if he had a key because the boss saw him on the camera and called her. I just thought, okay dont eat breakfast here Go back to my room the bed was super itchy. Dogs barking next door. I had to contact our company travel agency I didnt last the night, moved hotels at 11:30pm. Just dont stay, they keep saying theyre doing renovations, I would wait to even try until after theyre actually done. Thank you to Sabrina for trying and being such a nice employee.

Second time here, happy hour is the BEST. Between Raykuel and Sabrina, they are the best and everytime I'm in the area this is my go to! Really they deserve 6 stars! Oh, and I can't forget Joe at the desk, he was awesome too! Food & drinks: Have to make sure you're here Mon-Wed 5:30p-7p.

Not sure how this is a 3 star hotel, it is very run down. We stayed on the 4th floor, noticeable musky odor as soon as we got off the elevator. Room was pretty small, carpet hasn't been cleaned in years, stains were everywhere, on walls, carpet, curtains, lamp shades, couch and chairs. Walls has lots of cracks, and there were crusty food on the stove top. Dusty and furry vents, hair on the shower walls, black spots near and around the shower pans. AC were so loud, it sounded like a row of hot rods idling next our ears. We couldn't get a good night sleep, booked 3 nights but left after 2 restless nights. Front desks girls were very polite, and location is great but I would not recommend this hotel.

I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. Upon check-in, no one could find my reservation. Once it was found, I was given a room on the 4th floor. That room was already occupied... so awkward. I got a new room, and it wasn't clean. The staff's children were running around the hotel the entire evening. Dog hair all over rooms. People were stuck in the elevator. My coworker said she witnessed the staff's children drinking directly from the juice and soda fountains... putting their mouths on there... The hotel is quite dated compared to other Staybridge Suites I've stayed in. I usually have no issues with the Staybridge hotels, but this one... Lord. Just avoid this place. I checked out the next morning and moved hotels for the rest of my stay. Edited to add that the lobby and hallways were uncomfortably warm and the AC in the room would not go lower than 68. Being that this is a costal city, that shocked me.

I made my reservation over the phone a few nights before my stay. My family had made a reservation that afternoon and I called that evening to book. My rate was $20 extra. I informed them over the phone that this rate was $20 more than the rate my family received in the afternoon but there was nothing they would do to accommodate. Fine, okay. I informed them when I booked that I would like to be next door to my family, the gentleman said okay, Ill make note of that. On the evening of check in I was fortunate to meet Ms. Emilia. After our encounter she was so kind to spell out her entire name but I figured Id spare the details. When we arrived she was pre occupied with a gentleman needing tech support for WiFi use. One of her coworkers was attempting to handle the same situation rather than addressing the check in line. Fine, Okay. We waited for them to resolve and were finally able to check in. Once she completed the family I had traveled with it was my turn. I informed her it was noted I wanted a room near them. She proceeded to inform me there were No more rooms on their floor, I dont know who you made the reservation with but it wasnt me. Obviously, I understand it wasnt her but when you make a reservation and they say they will accommodate, you would think its best to accommodate. I repeated to her my request while she continued to repeat it wasnt me who made your reservation. Magically she was able to find a room but informed me it would be $20 more (now totaling+$40). I informed her I wasnt paying more for a room that was suppose to be reserved to accommodate us prior to check in. Kindly she did waive the fee, or so I hope as it appears Ive been charged an additional $52 on my account. We all thanked her for accommodating, she ignored us. Once I began signing the paper work I again thanked her. She was completely silent. I expressed to her when people say Thank you, generally you reply youre welcomed. She said okay with a smirk. For the remainder of our evening we were in and out, each time we passed the front desk she completely ignored us but always made it a point to acknowledge guests behind us. I will note that she magically found two rooms on the same floor and I was eventually able to be on the same floor as my in laws. The rooms were dirty but after looking at pictures from other reviews mine was not as terrible as those. However it looks like the part of the hotel I stayed in may have had recent water damage. Yay. At check out however we had a completely different experience with the gentleman at the desk. His customer service was a 180 from our check in experience and that left a less sour taste in my mouth. Considering the price of the room, the quality of room and the poor customer service displayed by Ms. Emilia, you should drive past this hotel. Right now the amount pending on my account is almost $200 for one night. Please, Take your money elsewhere.
