We just finished renovating our guest bathroom using Grand Floors & More, and couldn't be happier with the results or the process of getting there. From the initial consultation with Simon, our Sales / Design / Project Manager, on through the final installation work overseen day-to-day by Jacob, our Construction Manager, we were impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail by the various excellent work crews, and the flexibility and cooperation of all involved in handling the normal minor tweaks that occur to project details and schedule on these sorts of projects.
The finished product is better than we had hoped for. It was finished with an appropriate sense of urgency, without taking any short cuts. I would highly recommend Grand Floors and More (along with Simon and Jacob) for any similar renovation projects.

We're from Clear Lake and found ourselves in Katy with a little time on our hands. We were planning to replace 20 yr old 2nd floor carpet with hardwood. We talked with a number of flooring stores near CL and were not impressed with the selection, prices and the installation they offered (both cost and service level). In reality, didn't feel like we could trust 3 out of 4 of the other stores.
In all honesty, we went to Grand Floors to fact check. We picked Abed and Grand Floors for two reasons: 1) bc Grand Floors had enough high ratings on Yelp/Google that he had to be doing something right 2) Felt he would be honest bc we were so far away in CL that he wouldn't see us as a serious prospect. Didn't think there was a chance a Katy shop would offer a competitive price to install 1700 sq ft in CL.
Abed was great! What separated him was his capacity to listen and absorb social cues. Most places were trying to force fit us to buy what they've decided they're selling. That may work well for some customers. But if you're at all different in terms of budget, taste, objectives they'll try to bulldoze you into fitting their pattern.
Abed was able to source the highest quality engineered hardwood we found anyplace at a price we were willing to pay. Installation with Ramon and his crew was excellent. The installers spent the time to meticulously screw down every squeak and level any uneven part of the subfloor. Our 25 yr old house is now tight as a drum.
Every part of the process went smoothly from getting a bid, to scheduling payment, and installation. One thing to really call out is the way he handled our stairs. MANY contractor houses have staircases designed for carpet, converting them to hardwood is challenging for the best contractor. Abed and my wife came up with a solution that is beautiful and didn't break the bank.
The engineered hardwood Hickory floors look great and my wife is very happy. All wins.
