Roots at Waco

I just became a tesident and I am so impressed. They have been helpful along the way of my move-in and answered all my emails quickly. The community is beautiful and looks brand new and the pool is stunning.

I put writing this review off for 3 months. I hoped this would be resolved. My opinion of Roots at Waco has greatly decreased. I spoke highly prior to me chasing my security deposit. I have called and emailed numerous times wasting my valuable time and given the run around. They kick the can to a third party who tells you its in the mail but I never received it. Ive gone back and forth given multiple excuses and its been a horrible experience. The 3rd party says its out of their hands and nothing they can do. They are NOT following the law and they obviously hope people just give up-so they can keep the deposit. I left the place clean from top to bottom and took photos. And Im just wondering how many other people have experienced the Roots @Waco a Greystar management company just flat out refusing to forward their security deposit???? This is Not right. No security deposit return after 3 months of waiting . Beware of this game they play!!

The relocation from El Paso to Waco had so many ups and downs; before moving into The Roots at Waco I had an apartment that was supposed to be ready on the first of March I received a call from the apartment complex, two days before move-in, to have the leasing agent say my apartment would not be ready for another month, frantically I asked them for a recommendation for another Greystar property and Madison recommended The Roots at Waco. I was reluctant and didn't know if I would feel welcomed here or if this could become my new HOME. I called the Roots at Waco and met Rakal. I explained to her what had happened at a different Greystar property, and she immediately told me they had an apartment with immediate move-in. Rakal asked me what my preferences were, and she accommodated every request; when I moved-in all of my service request orders were taken-care-of the next business day! I had the opportunity to meet Tammy who assisted me with questions about my apartment and she stopped what she was doing and answered all of my questions her actions made me feel valued. Tammy made sure a package that was delivered to my door wasn't going to get wet, it was power washing day, and put my package inside my door. The warm welcome from two shining stars, Rakal and Tammy allowed me to let my guard down. I have embraced my new life in Waco and have begun enjoying my new HOME at The Roots in Waco!
