Very clean, modern, new hotel. One of the reasons that I booked this hotel was that it had a sauna and a pool. When we got there we found out that those two amenities are not completed yet because the hotel is still being built. That was very disappointing. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant although it has great reviews. The room and bathroom were beautiful and very comfortable. The exercise room was very nice with much more equipment than a typical exercise room at a hotel. The scent in the air when we got off the elevators was very strong. The artwork was really cute and I enjoyed that the name of Jesus showed up on my shower from the steam. We would stay here again, preferably once the sauna and pool are ready.

We had a wonderful visit at The Cambria in Waco. The rooms are magnificent. We stayed in the corner suite, which was full of beautiful decor and an awesome view. More than enough room for our large family with a kitchenette, full size fridge and a large table to play cards at and have dinner. The location is great to access all of Waco easily. The employees are friendly and welcoming. Grace was so kind on the phone and very helpful once we arrived. The other gentlemen that worked the next shift was phenomenal. Thanks!!

This hotel is the most immaculate Choice hotel I've ever stayed in. As of this review, it was only a few months old, so everything looked brand new. It is a bit fancy for my taste, but a nice place to stay. On the down side....There is a restaurant onsite, hence, no free breakfast; no microwave in the room; no air drier in the room; no ice machines; no trash in the bathroom; and, the TV remote didn't work properly. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, but there are places I'd rather stay.

I wrote this email to the hotel manager, but never received a response. I wanted to take a moment to talk about our stay last night at the Cambria Hotel in Waco, February 2024. To say Im disappointed would be an understatement. We paid over $300 for one night and it was a super uncomfortable and awkward experience. Ill list the issues below. 1. We were asked if we wanted an upgrade upon check in because the hotel was oversold. However, the upgrade would have meant our son would have to sleep on a couch, because there was only one bed. We declined and were told they would find a room with the two beds we booked. 2. We were given a room, but upon entering the room another couple was startled upon our entry. They gave us a room that was already occupied by guests. I was so embarrassed that we walked into someone elses room. 3. We headed back downstairs, told the front desk about the issue and we were given another room on a different floor. 4. We come back to the hotel from dinner to find out both elevators were broken. 5. The thermostat kept falling off the wall, and batteries popping out. 6. We went downstairs for breakfast and needed to be done in an hour. There were two other tables and 5 people total. One waitress. After 10 min she came by our table and we told her wed order quick and needed to be out by 9. She seemed very bothered by this request and she said she didnt think they could do that, but shed ask the chef. Well, they agreed, we ordered eggs, bacon and toast. She literally ran around the restaurant the rest of the time we were there. Literally ran, as in an actual jog. No other tables came in, it wasnt crowded and it was honestly pretty uncomfortable. We got our food in less than 10 min, but I had one cup of coffee. I asked for more, never got it. Then asked for a to go cup and was told there were none but I could have an iced coffee. We were headed outdoors in 38 degree weather, so I declined iced coffee. It was just such a sub par experience at best. We felt like every employee was frazzled and stressed. For $300 per night I expected a better experience.
