I recently had the pleasure of going on an apartment tour with Susan, a leasing agent with Cooper Point Apartments, and I couldn't be more impressed! DO NOT RENT HERE!! Upon signing the lease and receiving the keys to my new apartment, I was appalled by the overwhelming smell of mold. A thorough inspection revealed black mold infestation throughout the unit. Additionally, the washer was inoperable and several electrical outlets were not working. As a result of these uninhabitable conditions, I was forced to cancel my move-in and have been without a home for two weeks. Management initially promised to refund my prorated rent and security deposit, but no such refund has been received. Despite repeated attempts to contact the management, I have been met with silence. Emails have gone unanswered, phone calls have been ignored, and during multiple visits to the office during business hours, I found it locked and deserted The lack of communication, responsiveness, and resolution from the management has been appalling. It is unacceptable to rent out an apartment that is uninhabitable and to then withhold the tenant's funds without any explanation or assistance. I strongly advise potential tenants to avoid this property and management company at all costs.
