These guys bought out our local veterinary, the service has been terrible ever since, the managing veterinarian is very rude on the phone and then tries to turn the issue onto the customer, what a complete narcissist. The office lost all of its existing vets, and is no where near the business it use to be. Sad corporation,

We were with this corporation's subsidiary clinic for many years. We were on their pet plan for all our dogs and had great service until we decided to not renew our plan. After that we were unable to get an appointment. When we couldn't get an appointment for two months and therefore could not redeem what we had paid for via the plan we requested a refund since we spent over $1300 and received no services and were blocked from getting an appointment to receive the services. After this the experience just got worse. They refused to give us a refund and attempted to justify their actions and blame us. I cannot believe this is the same business we worked with for so long. They basically stole our money. It reached the point of us reaching out to the parent company and they passed us along to legal and this is what we received from them..... "The Agreement does not provide a guarantee of appointment availability or require Heartfelt to refund any payments due to lack of appointment availability. The PPV Legal Team has reviewed this situation thoroughly, and the decision was made to adhere to Heartfelt's policy. Therefore, no payments made under the second term of the agreement will be refunded to you at this time" So based on this they can take your money and then refuse to give you an appointment, therefore completely blocking you from being able to use any of the services you have already paid for. This is on the parent company, People Pets and Vets, website: Our leadership team lives and breathes by our core values. Just to a name a few, we strive for excellence in everything we do, we are big on servant leadership and we always operate with integrity. It's really easy to write copy for a website. But they obviously are unwilling to actually live that out. ____ This is in response to PPV reply. This is really manipulative. People at Heartfelt and their new parent company People, Pets and Vets seem to be very unhealthy and socially toxic. First, you are lying. You never offered to extend our plan so that we could use our services. We have email correspondence to prove it and we will include this lie and our emails and voicemails to prove it in our correspondence with the Better Business Bureau. Second, you refuse to take responsibility or make the situation right. Someone who has already paid over $1300 for services should be able to get an appointment to redeem those services sometime over the course of two months. You wouldn't give us an appointment and therefore we couldn't get any of the services we paid for. You were unable/unwilling to schedule something for two months and the way you treated us completely changed after we discontinued our plan. You have been manipulative, including--gaslighting, lying, villainizing, denial, diversion, false presentation, projection, stonewalling, exaggeration, invalidating, minimizing, etc. All emotionally toxic and unhealthy behavior. It is completely unacceptable for anyone to behave this way, including a business. We were responsible and this comment addresses the way you have attempted to make it seem like we did something wrong. We didn't. You provided none of the services I paid for and were rude and unhelpful. Two month refund is completely inadequate when we paid over $1300 and you took our money, refused to give us an appointment and then refused to refund us our money.

Another corporate chain that puts profits ahead of the humane treatment and care of pets. Their unsafe procedures and poorly trained staff (some not even licensed and supervised) killed our pet. Their focus was on collect payment as quickly as possible and then we're too busy to talk to you about any issues.
