Union Bank

Horrible experience. Opened my account with the wrong name. Went in and the assistant manager didnt even care. Talked to multiple people on the phone and got no help. It still hasnt been fixed. My name is still spelled wrong. Totally unhelpful staff and clearly no accountability. Horrible app with zelle not even working.

We have banked with Union Bank for several decades. The Pacific Grove branch continues to provide the fabulous service we have have received from their branch as well as our former branch in San Jose.

HORRIBLE TREATMENT. Union Bank lied/libeled me in a letter to third parties. Union Bank locked the front door and called the police on me after they refused to allow me to withdraw all my money to pay bills.  I would never recommend this bank to anyone. I so want to sue Union Bank!

Unfortunately, With Rodolfo leading the new management I have had nothing but bad experience at the PG Branch. I have had an account with them since they were Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, 12 years. For many years I was grateful to have a local branch with staff that was awesome and supported us as a non profit business account. The newest bank manager assisted in opening a new business bank account for us and has not taken responsibility for not opening it correctly and regularly treats us as strangers. I don't see anyone there anymore that made the bank enjoyable to go to and made transactions streamline with a knowledgeable staff. We are going to close 3 accounts with them. It will be a hassle to close them all and have to start all over but after our experience today the only reason I will go back there is when I close the accounts. The days of community banking when you could trust your banker are sadly gone in Pacific Grove.

Great branch of Union Bank. Union Bank itself has fairly uncompetitive policies, but then again, don't they all. The employees here are the star attraction.
