We had a water heater installed by Red Dog three years ago and our plumber was prompt, friendly, and did a great job. I decided to use them again three years later to do some repairs in my master bath. Bryon was on time, friendly, and fixed four issues very quickly. No mess either and our plumbing is like new again. Prices are very reasonable and the work is high quality. Highly recommend. Services: Shower repair, Tap repair, Toilet repair, Leak investigation and repair

I live in the Bethany Beach area of Sussex County.
I had a water heater heater (HWH) issue. Bradford White (manufacturer) directed me to a different HVAC company, because the unit is a heat pump HWH and not many HVAC co's work on them. My experience with them (HVAC co) was HORRIBLE! The the unit was under warranty for replacement (even swap excluding labor. After a week and a half the other hvac company still hadn't called me back, in the meantime we had no hot water.
I called RED DOG ( had been pleased with their service before), spoke to Ken Wood, he not only had the correct replacement HWH for me in 3 hours, 3 HOURS!!!, but he also found an energy rebate which covered 80% of the labor charge.
Bryan and James installed soon afterwards and did a great professional job.

Red Dog Associates replaced a 9 year old - still under warranty - defective Trane HVAC condenser unit with a comparable new American Standard condenser unit (same company - different brand). We had had lingering problems with the Trane unit leaking Freon -- which was finally traced to a factory defective weld on the inside of the unit which was virtually impossible to properly repair. We also had some issues making a warranty claim... Red Dog recently bought out Associates Contracting in Dover and when I informed Ken Wood, the new owner, of this on going issue -- he IMMEDIATELY took charge and scheduled to have the defective unit replaced - under warranty. He responded to all emails and calls immediately -- and provided exceptional customer service. The unit was professionally installed -- the labor cost was highly reasonable -- and our problem was solved. I have been with Associates for over 23 years for HVAC and Plumbing since building our house. This kind of quick response -- super service -- and solving our lingering problem will certainly justify my staying with the new Red Dog Associates for another 23 + years. If you want super service -- folks doing what they say they will -- good value -- and responsiveness --- you can't go wrong with Red Dog. Service: HVAC repair

Ridiculously expensive!!!!! Stay away!!! Charged triple what others companies charge. Had a outside hose bid replaced which took less than 30 minutes and was charged $375.00. They say it is a flat rate fee but they won't tell you that until they send the bill. It's a real shame, used them many times before never had the overcharging issue. Service: Tap installation
